Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed our 1st time on HHI! This unit provided a great location near Coligny Plaza and access to the beach and the complex pool. The unit has been updated, which was great, but the bedroom furniture also needs to be updated.

Very nice and clean condo within a short walk around the pool to the beach. The layout is very spacious! The furniture did feel like it had a lot of sunscreen on it. We could have used a few more forks with the cutlery. However, the unit was great for a week-long stay at Hilton Head!

Great, easy stay

We spent three nights (three adults, two kids <10) here and had a great experience. The condo has been updated and was very clean, and everything was in good working order. Parking was easy, beach access was convenient, pool was kid-friendly, and the location was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here again for another year. Place does what it needs to. No frills, just a place to crash when not out and about.

We came to HHI for a music festival and found the property as advertised and comfortable. The unit was very convenient to the activities. Rented bikes through the Vacay life and were delivered and ready for use upon arrival. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and clean. Easy access to the beach and umbrella / chairs were available for rent. Unit could use some additional glassware as we were washing glasses frequently. We will defiantly consider staying here again for future visit.

Loving Hilton Head

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location couldn’t have been better. We walked to everything and there were so many great restaurants-all with live music. The complex was beautiful and in top condition. The condo is a spacious well designed space that is in need of love as it is a bit outdated. The unit and kitchen were well stocked but the cabinets were in poor repair. It was very clean and that is most important to us. It has a large balcony with a beautiful view. All in all we had a fantastic stay and hope to stay here again.

Outdated and dirty...Owner needs to refurbish or sell!!

Management company was outstanding!!!! Property was dirty, carpet old and stained, bathrooms from the 60,s, with rust and ancient faucets, toilet was like sitting on the floor, mattress was old and sagging, drapes and blinds were falling apart, patio door was old and rusted, kitchen was a disaster, sink coming apart, drawers fell out on the floor when opened, microwave rusted and dirty, washer and dryer ancient and noisy, OLD dirt everywhere, food left in drawers and moldy, no directions for the tv, kitchen cabinets loosing their varnish and falling apart

Basic, No Frills

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You can tell the condo was recently updated which was nice. I appreciated that there were plenty of hangers and the washer and dryer worked well. The best way to describe it is basic and no frills which for the most part was fine for us. The furniture is mismatched and mostly outdated and not especially clean. There were no wall hangings or decor other than some fake plants and shells. It would have been nice to have some throw pillows on the couch and living room chairs. Some hooks in the entryway for bags, purses, etc. would be a great help. The kitchen was adequately stocked for us, but we didn’t cook. It probably wouldn’t be adequate for guests who would want to cook and sit down to have meals with more than 3 people. The location and the Shorewood complex more than made up for all of this in our opinion. Unfortunately the condo was not very clean which is a real problem for me. The kitchen and bathrooms were fine, but the kitchen table was dirty and the floors were filthy. The beds and bathroom vanities had dust and trash from previous visitors under them. Luckily there was a swiffer in the closet and when I used it, I could tell that floors had not been cleaned in a while. The primary bathroom toilet seat was missing a bolt so it flopped around when you sat on it. It took a couple of tries to get a response from the management company, but when they did respond they were quick to fix it. I am not sure if we would stay here again. If we did, I would have to bring some items from home to make it more comfortable and I would plan to do some cleaning.

We love Shorewood!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at shore wood three times now in three separate units. However, as with everything these days, prices on most units have inflated and were out of our price range and we were looking elsewhere. Someone must have cancelled and this unit popped up in our price range and I was excited. The unit itself could use some repairs/updates, but that would most likely put it in a new price range. Everything was satisfactory, and the view/location in unbeatable. If you are willing to sacrifice staying in an updated “fancy” condo for a better price range and same amenities/location, then this is your best bet.

The unit we stayed in was not very clean.

We definitely over paid for this property. Stains on the carpet. Broken dining chairs. Kitchen drawers that fell out when you pulled them out. A good view of the ocean and close to the beach. The unit needs to be updated.

condo not recommended

The handle to the patio door was broken making it very hard to open and close. Strips of the blinds in the master bedroom were missing so there was no privacy. you were able to see through to the balcony. Two utensil drawers had signs on them to be careful when opening the drawer because it will fall out. Minimal kitchenware,,, So many more flaws in this condo

Vacation in August 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay , my son is in a wheelchair and found the beach access so easy. The rental did have a few things that needed fixed. The door look would get stuck and cabinets needed repaired . Some of the window blinds were missing . But overall clean and met our needs . Especially for the price it was a great deal .
