Efter uppgradering i början av 1990-talet och sedan en annan i maj 2017-den hÀr separata 2-rumslÀgen i min historiska Mass Ave NE Brownstone, som ursprungligen byggdes pÄ 1880-talet, erbjuder allt pÄ din lista över must-haves: historisk charm, modern komfort , och ett mycket bekvÀmt lÀge i hjÀrtat av Historic Capitol Hill, intill Stanton Park, kvarter frÄn senaten, Capitol, kongressbiblioteket, högsta domstolen, affÀrer, restauranger och hela mat.

En av fyra lediga enheter pÄ denna fastighet, 607B ligger pÄ gatunivÄ och sover bekvÀmt 6 vuxna med 2 sovrum, 1 badrum och en drottning bÀddsoffa i vardagsrummet. This apartment was perfect for our long weekend surrounding the Marine Corp Marathon. It is located in a nice neighborhood within easy walking distance of multiple metro stations. Getting to the monuments was just a short walk and train ride away. The kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking meals in but there wee also plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. Would be happy to stay here again.

The location absolutely sells this rental. There is definite need of repairs to the property! The bathroom door doesn’t close properly and the property shows signs of lack of maintenance. There was mildew in one of the bedrooms and under the sink in the bathroom, which caused our allergies to flare. The beds were very comfortable.

Super cute neighborhood. Was great for a family. We got groceries and made breakfast and dinners at the house and got lunches on the go when we were out touring. A short walk to capital hill and longer, but still manageable for teens and adults to get to the further monuments. Will miss my morning runs to the Washington Monument and will visit again!

Great Location and Great Price

The location of this place is amazing! A ten minute walk gets you to the Supreme Court, the Capital, Eastern Market, and a metro station with easy access to the rest of the mall, monuments, and museums. The apartment itself is clean, well maintained, and well furnished. It is a surprising amount of space. The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful when needed. We would stay here again!

If you’re in DC this is a great place to stay. I don’t know how six people could stay but 5 fit fine and the location is great. Safe area, close to everything in the city and has historic value itself. I’d definitely stay here again.

We loved the location of this row house english basement. Walkable neighborhood. Restaurants nearby. Bikes and scooters nearby. Walking distance to Capitol. Great communication with homeowner. Comfortable beds. Loved the addition of a fan in the bedroom and owner provided coffee!! Would recommend.

Great Property for DC Visit!

My teenage daughter and I were able to stay here and used the proximity to Union Station to travel by metro to see all the sites without a car. Nice property and neighborhood!

Great place to explore the capitol.

This is a great place to base your exploration of DC. Close enough to walk, bus, or metro to eveything in the city. The apartment itself was clean and well maintained. The addition of the washer/dryer was a lifesaver. The only negative we found was the low water pressure in the shower (but overall not a vig deal at all).

Great place!

Great place! Great location to walk to the DC fireworks. You can get to pretty much every tourist spot for a $12 uber. A few great restaurants are a close walk.

I highly recommend this property! It was just as the pictures showed - very clean and updated with all the conveniences provided. Quick walk to food and sights. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back here!

Just as advertised. Location was great! The rooms were as described. Great space for our family of 5. The beds were comfortable. The main reason I didn’t rate it a 5 is because even though the host mentioned that the shower was tricky to adjust, I actually found it rather difficult to operate. I either got very hot water or cold water without ever being able to adjust it to a happy medium. A few more hooks for bath towels would have also been helpful, but that is a minor detail. Overall I would recommend.

Family Getaway

This property was perfect for our family, traveling with kids. We really appreciated the easy street parking and it was so easy to get to all the museums and monuments by bus or walking. Playground right across the street, pack n play included, kid-friendly restaurant recommendations. The place was clean. Owners were extremely responsive when we had questions. Thanks for a great stay!

Almost good....

Giant rat kept me awake both nights with loud chewing and scratching noises. I know it was giant because I saw it the second night. UV light test left me...concerned. Other than that it was pretty good. Could've been a 4 star. Should've been a 5 star. Actually was 2.5 star

Fantastic Location and fit 6 adults!

Traveled to DC for daughters college graduation- and added extra days for fun in the city. This was a perfect place- Clean, Room for six of us (though I recommend four due to the one bathroom). Had plenty of questions, mostly regarding the area, for the host and they were always responsive and helpful. Location is in walking distance of Capital Hill and the surrounds. Only positive memories about this rental.
