Nestled on a quiet property owned by Port Clyde Kayaks, this two-level apartment has its own private entrance and is perfectly situated just a quarter mile from a kayak launch, making it an ideal home base for paddlers. Though located close to the heart of the village, it offers a peaceful escape — with serene mornings and evenings.

The first floor features:

Outdoor Space:
Step outside into the shared backyard to find a peaceful setting complete with a duck pond, Adirondack chairs, and open space to unwind. While the property is also home to some light business activity from Port Clyde Kayaks, the setting remains quiet and inviting — especially in the early mornings and evenings.
For your convenience, we have provided initial supplies of the following: linens, bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, and beach towels. Your first tank of propane for the gas grill and fire pit, dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, basic cable, wireless internet, and a home phone (long distance is not included) are all complimentary. Cell phones: Although coverage is getting better, there are some places where cell phones don't have good reception. Our property owner has a land line in case of emergency.
Weather: If you have heard it once, you've heard it a hundred times: if you don't like the weather in New England, wait a minute. It can be hot in Rockland and cool in Port Clyde so make sure to pack a variety of clothes — from a bathing suit for hot days to a sweater for cool evenings. Bugs: A lot of people ask us if we have mosquitoes...we sure do. But they aren't huge and they don't ruin a vacation. Bring some repellent, or pick some up at the local general stores and you will be fine; usually, you won't even notice them.
