Det är en kort bilresa till Camden & Thomaston och bara några minuter till Farnsworth Art Museum & Transportation Museum. Centralt beläget, cirka 1. 5 timmar från både Portland och Bangor och bara 2 timmar från Acadia National Park. Lokala bekvämligheter inkluderar stränder, natursköna vandringsleder, lätta hus, sjöar, golf, skidåkning, konstgallerier och naturligtvis hummer.

Huset har en stor trädgård och ett inhägnad område för husdjur. Havet som vetter mot däck ger fantastisk utsikt över Penobscotbukten. Huset har stor naturlig belysning och bottenvåningen innehåller alla tre sovrum, badrummet, vardagsrummet och köket / matsalen. Tvättmaskin och torktumlare finns i den oavslutade källaren.

Vardagsrummet har fantastisk utsikt över hamnen men det stora fönsterfönstret. Den har en 55-tums 4k smart-tv med en Roku och Disney Plus ingår.

Det stora sovrummet har en king size-madrass från Casper med en 43-tums 4k smart-tv med Roku och Disney Plus. Både det andra och det tredje sovrummet har dubbelsängar.

Tvätten ligger i den oavslutade källaren och kräver att man går ner i en något brant trappa för att komma till.

Internet med hög hastighet (50mbs) är tillgängligt i hela huset.

Great view of Ocean, Comfortable, Convenient

Great management, very clean, had everything in the kitchen, comfortable beds, even a pen for a dog. The sky was beautiful at night. It was very quiet. We were very close to hiking trails and the lighthouse. We had a nice time at Christmas.

The house was amazing. Very well furnished and comfortable. The view of the bay was great. Lots of things to do and see and the restaurants were plentiful and had very good menus.

Simple comfortable clean - good location

Just stayed one night. Only slept there. Didn’t use kitchen but seemed to be stocked well enough. It is small and tight in kitchen and living room but works. Bedrooms were comfortable. Bathroom has no counter space. Nice view. Not a walkable area from house. A good value for three bedrooms.

Owls Head ME

Amazing View from the deck and living room/kitchen area. Close to all sorts of Lighthouses, Beach Areas, and towns from Belfast, Camden, Rockport, Rockland, Owls Head, Thomaston, Warren, etc. Lobster Festival 2024 was the 77th Annual and packed full of all sorts of activities with 5 days. Geology Sailing with Captain Tyler of Morning in Maine was fantastic. Learned all sorts of info about the wildlife, migrations, lobstering, and sailing.No frills place to stay with an amazing view and close proximity to all sorts of activities and locations. Cycling and kayaking was very easy from the house and many locations within 10-15 minutes. Schoolhouse Farm and Dragons Breath Pottery were 2 great finds. Farm foods and local handmade pottery. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very nice coastal stay!

Clean, comfortable family home in a peaceful neighborhood. Beautiful view and close to everything we wanted to see - McLoon's, Rockland, fairs, shopping, and children's museums. Great mattresses, kitchen and living amenities, and loved the fenced in yard for pets and kids though we didn't have to use it. We would be happy to stay here again!

Owls Head Retreat

Great spot to use while visiting Camden and Rockland, plus easy access to Marshall Point, Permaquid and of course the Owls Head Light. Recommend Owls Head General store for meals and basic provisions.

Was traveling to a running race cancelled by hurricane Lee When it was cancelled, even though late I thought I could get back sales tax and cleaning fees. No more VRBO for us.

Thankful for the extra rooms but not the early noise!

I booked this cottage because it was outside of the busy towns and we could all enjoy our own bedroom. Owls Head is quaint and the sea view was nice. The rental had everything we needed for the short stay. The negative is that there was a large tree on the side of the rental that had been recently taken down. Upon arrival, it was a messy sight. Worse yet, the pickup of the tree debris came just after 6am the next morning. This didn’t afford sleeping in. I was also surprised at the level of LOUD road noise that started early. FYI: There is a small plot of graves that border the house, but not in photos. There was also a strong “basement smell” (musty?) when you first entered the property at the kitchen but it grew less noticeable the longer you were inside. There was a giant tv for movie watching. The furniture was different than pictured, but still comfortable. The rental could have been prepped a bit better before our arrival. For example, the outside porch needed to be cleaned as it was covered with leaves/debri and furniture not easily usable.. A few more options for the Keurig would have also been nice, and perhaps a few tea bag options. There is a decent “to-do” list for checkout. In the end, I did not feel like the total fee payed for the rental met my expectations.

Comfortable House

We really enjoyed our stay, very comfortable. House was clean and well stocked for our needs. Easy location to shops, galleries, and restaurants in Rockland. Highly recommend McLoons Lobster Shack on Spruce Head Island. We also made day trips to Boothbay Harbor and Pemaquoid Pt Lighthouse.

Not fancy but very nice

This was a great overnight stop for three older women who all wanted their own bedroom. We weren't there long but drove a short ways into town for a light dinner and left the next morning after breakfast. View to the ocean was a bonus watching the fog lift and kayaks.

Nice house in a nice location

This house is very well outfitted with almost everything you could need. Even firewood. For those who need/want internet, it works very good too. I mention almost everything because we were there during a heat wave and being that there isn’t AC (like most the houses in Maine) the house was very warm when we arrived and there was no fan to help. With all the windows open, it still took until sometime after midnight to get to just 75. The house is well insulated. However, the basement with the washer/dryer was very cold so that was an incentive to catch up on our laundry :) Overall, it’s a great place to stay when it’s not 90 degrees outside. I would return without hesitation.

We had a great time, it was very enjoyable! We loved the front porch in the morning to drink coffee! The sun and view was delightful. Cleaning products were on hand and the washer- dryer were helpful having kiddos. Thank You!!
