We took a girl’s trip and celebrated a 70th birthday at this gorgeous property. The house, amenities and views were amazing! The entire house was immaculate and felt like you were staying in a private home. The location was close to cute NC towns, great restaurants and fantastic exploring in the Pisgah State Park. Our host promptly answered all of our questions before and during our stay. All of this made for a memorable trip. Thank you, Paul!

Everything was clean and well set up. It was like your own personal land, which was really good. The Hottub was preheated and ready for our arrival as well as a ping pong table, which was also really cool.

We booked this house for a family, girls weekend. It’s an adventurous trek up a little, curvy road but when you get to the top the views are beautiful! The property is well maintained, as is the house. They have everything you need for entertaining. The house is well stocked, they are unusually generous with necessities like soap, toiletries, paper products. The kitchen is fully stocked. We loved the hot tub with a great view of the mountains, had a lovely fire pit one night, painted the views, had a fun spa night as well in the deck. We enjoyed the piano and guitar so much. They were both a nice bonus. We played horse shoes and ping pong as well as worked puzzles and played card games. A favorite might be the front porch swing! The property is just a few minutes from the little town of Brevard where we ate at the diner, shopped the antique store and had ice cream. We chased waterfalls a couple of days which range from about 15 minutes to an hour or so away. We loved our stay and the host was fantastic to deal with. He answered any questions we had quickly.

We had the best time staying at Paul’s place when we came to town to celebrate our wedding anniversary! The views were amazing from both front porch and back porch. I think I spent most of my time reading or napping on the front porch swing - it was so relaxing. We even had three deer come up to the front yard one morning which was a cool experience. The property itself was nice and private - there’s a few other houses on the driveway up from the main road but they’re so far away that you still feel like you’re up on top of a mountain completely secluded. There was a fire pit which we enjoyed a few nights with lots of firewood and comfy chairs. The hot tub was awesome and easy to figure out. Plenty of outdoor places to sit and enjoy the outdoors between the front and back porch. The kitchen was full of everything we needed for basic cooking that we did while we were there but was essentially fully stocked with serving ware/cookware that we could use if needed. The fireplace made the living room nice and cozy and the bedroom had armoires for hanging up clothes which was nice. Having a washer dryer was great also so we could keep up with our laundry needs. Everything felt clean, and we just felt like we were at home with all of the personal details all over the house. There were only two of us during our stay but I could totally see coming back with friends or family since there were four separate private bedrooms and plenty of space to sprawl out. We’d love to return!
