River Dream

The cabin is perfect. We stayed with my brother in law and his wife. We had a great time. It was extremely cold, spent alot of time in the cabin enjoying the company, the beautiful fire and the river flowing by. Easy access to Gatlinburg activities.

Cute Creekside Cabin

The cabin was super cute and right on the creek. It was very peaceful sitting on the screened porch listening to the water. It was very close to downtown Gaitlinburg, and a short drive to Pigeon Forge, very convenient. There were a few things I had to do to secure the property that I wasn't used to with a VRBO rental, but it wasn't anything crazy. I'd recommend the cabin if you are looking for a nice little getaway with close amenities.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was fine, a little dated but fine. It was pretty much as reviewed so I was expecting an older less modern cabin which was fine. The Aunt Bug's staff was professional when I picked up the key code and over the phone when I reserved and checked out. However when I first showed up to ask some questions (10:30 am) the lady who assisted me was not the friendliest person I have ever met. I knew check in was not until 3 pm and only had a few questions about early arrivals, location, etc. She was very short with me and seemed to be bothered that I would dare ask questions at 10:30 in the morning. We also had a repair man appear unannounced, did not introduce himself and proceeded to ask for the key code and made himself at home while we tried to decide if he was legit. He was very nice and professional but it was a little unnerving at first. I don't blame him I am sure he was just completing a work order but a little heads up from the office would have been appreciated. Overall the property was pretty much as advertised but a little remodeling would add to the appeal in my opinion.

The cabin was not very clean. Bathroom walls were dirty and it smelled a little like urine. The cabin was very damp and smelled like mold the whole time. A dehumidifier is definitely recommended. The screened back porch was nice, and so was the location.

Great location on a quiet street. The sunroom overlooking the river was my favorite part. Within walking distance to the town of Gatlinburg and very close to the Moonshine Mountain Coaster and Hillbilly Golf.

This is amazing place to stay. The location is perfect. Its in the woods enough for the mountain feel, but close enough to walk into town. You cant get a better location. We walked out on the screenporch to be greeted by a beautiful black bear on the other side of the door. Its one of my many favorite moments while we were there. We will be back next year.

Screen in patio was wonderful, short walk to all stores in Gatlinburg. Could have been dusted alot better, smelled musky and rug in living room needed deep cleaned. Loved the River behind cabin

A cool little cottage, minutes from everything!

The house is literally a few minute drive or walk to downtown Gatlinburg, and 10 minutes to Pigeon Forge. The house is well kept, just feels homey. I look forward to booking here again!

Great location. This is a quaint little cabin. Nothing fancy but nice. It gives you the feel of going to stay at Grandma's house. It wouldnt be for someone who likes high-end amenities. I would go stay again.

Every thing was great. Enjoyed listening to the river while sitting on the screened in porch. The rocker on the porch was ready for the dump. Need more comfortable porch furniture. Inside was nice.

Relaxing

It was like staying with my grandma back in the day. My husband and i laughed every time the screen door slammed. We both remember getting yelled at as children for slamming the screen door. The river was very relaxing while sitting in the hot tub.

Spring Break 2024

Overall very pleased. We loved the location! It felt secluded and yet we were able to walk to almost everything. My husband and son both fished in the river, catching trout. The river was so peaceful and sitting on the back porch listening to the water dropped our stress level tremendously. No complaints as the cabin suited our needs. It is outdated with furnishing and wall borders but again, we were overall very pleased. Great stay!
