This is an authentic log cottage from the 1940s with lots of pictures of the neighborhood from earlier times. It’s located right on a bubbling branch of the Little Pigeon river. It is just on the edge of town, very convenient location. The screened in porch, rocking chairs and hot tub are worth the whole stay. Adequate bed, bath, and kitchen facilities, definitely everything you need. The cabin could use a few ‘touch ups’ after a busy summer. The beds are very comfortable, however they are very tall beds and my short elderly sister wasn’t able to get in to either one, also afraid of falling out if I were able to hoist her in. ( she slept in a recliner.) I really enjoyed our stay. The bear in the back yard a real plusI would have appreciated brighter lights in the living area, and it is close enough to the parkway that even the wonderful stream didn’t always drown out the roar of groups of motorbikes going by.Communication with Aunt Bugs was great. I would stay here again.

Amazing Place

This cabin was a great place to stay! Right on the river! Beautiful back porch to sit on and watch and listen to the river and wildlife! Very close, walking distance possible to Gatlinburg shops and downtown. We loved it!

Just What We Needed!!!

Second time staying at this cabin...IT IS PERFECT!! Love the location, the screen porch and creek. Its just a beautiful, peaceful, fun getaway. We will be back next year!!!

Great time by the River

Our family enjoyed the stay. Bears literally in the backyard. There was a import car meet in town, could hear in the cabin from the main road.

Nice cabin

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this older cabin. It was very comfortable. The fireplace was great on the cold nights. We loved the sound of the river just out the back door.

Peaceful Retreat

This cottage was a find! Super clean, well equipped with all the necessities and comfortable beds. There’s a beautiful River/creek directly behind the cabin and it was just so peaceful hearing the water flow. Walking distance to restaurants. Plenty activities for young and old. We will definitely be back.

First vacation without kids!

We had a good time. The rain and flooding slowed us down a bit so we spent more time at the cabin then we planned on doing but still had a relaxing, fun time.

Nice getaway

This cabin is just outside of downtown Gatlinburg. We were right on a river with no hotel ahead of us, so it felt secluded and peaceful. Cabin was in great condition, working hot tub, and cool ac.

Convenient Tranquility

Each morning began with a quiet cup of coffee by the stream, followed by a short walk into downtown Gatlinburg. This cabin really does have the best of both worlds!
