The house is well equipped. We did have some issues with bathroom towels. However the power had been out on the island which caused some issues with getting the property ready. When I called about the towels it was fixed up in about 15 minutes. The host/manager was very responsive. Nothing was too much which we really appreciated. The home is nice however the small bedroom upstairs has no access to a bathroom without going through one of the other bathrooms or going downstairs to the powder room. This was a bit awkward for us. The location of the house was perfect very mid-island so easy to get to everything. The beach shade and chairs were great. The kitchen and bathrooms are starting to show their age and could do with a refresh. There is a blackrock grill thing. Many people love them but we were not fans. Everything felt like it was fried in a frying pan. I would have preferred a bbq grill. The steaks we cooked were disappointing and we had brought ribs but just brought them home as I don’t think they would have turned out great on it. We also brought a lot of food with us, as first timers we were worried about the selection at the grocery store and the prices. Next time I would not bring so much as the grocery store has everything you need and the prices were not out of this world. Overall Summersalt is a lovely well managed property.
