Öppen nivĂ„ öppen kök, vardagsrum, matplats Ă€r ljus, varm och vĂ€lkomnande. Ett övre plan dĂ€ck strĂ€cker sig över hela framsidan av huset och har flera gungstolar och matplats. Hemmet har delvis havsutsikt och ligger bara en kort promenad till stranden. Funktioner i hemmet: övre nivĂ„ har master svit med king size-sĂ€ng, tv, bifogat badkar, stor klĂ€dkammare, tillgĂ€nglig dĂ€ck entrĂ©; 3 ytterligare sovrum pĂ„ denna nivĂ„: tvĂ„ med queen size-sĂ€ngar och ett med 2 enkelsĂ€ngar. Det finns ett fullt hallbad för dessa tre sovrum att dela samt ett halvt badrum. PĂ„ bottenvĂ„ningen finns ett stort öppet rum med tvĂ„ uppsĂ€ttningar vĂ„ningssĂ€ngar, soffa, tv och spelbord. We loved the Hatchling House! It was a great location and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the family for meals and fun evenings and were as for the three golf carts.

Wonderful trip with a gorgeous house

A long needed vacation in a gorgeous beach house is what my mates and I needed and it’s what we got! Excellent communication and a full set of all the items one could need to enjoy your time at the beach.

Beautiful home, wonderful trip!

The home was spacious, clean, in a great location and truly exceeded our expectations for our vacation! The owners were very easy to get in contact with and extremely helpful when we had questions. We would love to come back and visit this home and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a vacation rental!

Perfect for large family

Wonderful house with plenary of room for family with kids. Very clean and easy check in and check out. Great kitchen and open living room and bedrooms are tucked away and is quiet even when when people are in living room. Loved our stay!!

Baldhead Island is the best beach in North Carolina for nature lovers! We enjoyed the many bicycles for exploring the island. A very short Walk to the beach. The great room kitchen dining room combo is Perfect for cooking family meals, and hanging out with everyone.

Perfect family getaway

We loved our family getaway at Hatchling House. Location was ideal as we were close to the beach, market and BHI club. House was bright and airy, and we loved the open family room/kitchen and large porch. Very comfortable and clean house with great communication from owners.

Memorial Day Vacation

This is a great family beach home. The property owners are very easy to communicate with and responsive to our questions. The house is extraordinarily well equipped, and was spotless when we arrived. The home accommodates a large family with multiple bedroom and great gathering room and large kitchen.

Delightful Stay in BHI

We just spent a week at the Hatchling House and my only regret is that we didn’t book another week. The home, one of the first built on the island, is perfect for families with kids and is a one minute cart ride to South Beach and very short trips to East Beach, the Marina, and the market. We hope to stay there again soon.

Fall Break Trip

Despite some sketchy weather early on, we had a wonderful visit to BHI. The house was a perfect fit with plenty of room for our family and the Lightbourne's could not have been more accommodating to ensure a great experience. We will definitely be back!

Bright and Cherry house with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of room for the entire family. Short walk to the beach. Both the bikes and golf carts were in excellent shape. Can’t wait to return in the near future and we hope this wonderful house will be available at that time.

Beautiful Home!

We had the best week at the Hatchling house. It was well stocked with plenty of kitchen items, kids toys/equipment & beach supplies (chairs, bikes, sand toys, etc). It is very close to beach access & market/shops. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for a great week!

BHI vacation at Hatchling House

We found the house very accommodating for our adult family. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Bikes, kayaks and beach supplies were enjoyed. First time for some to see a loggerhead turtle lay eggs.

Jim's parents lived on the island for years. His parents were very involved with the island conservancy. Malcolm was an artist and the house is named after his painting 'The Hatchlings' which hangs at the BHI Conservancy. Our daughter was married on BHI and our son proposed to his fiancee on BHI. Bald Head has been a wonderful summer vacation spot for our extended family for years. We hope to continue this tradition for many years to come. We are so excited to have bought this home in summer 2013.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

As soon as we saw this house, we knew it was the perfect home for our family, with a great location on the island. The large open living area is a wonderful space for family gatherings. This area is enhanced by the easy access to the large porch. The upper level porch has dining and seating areas. The lower level porch offers shade.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Built in 1974, this is one of the 17 'generator' generation homes built on BHI. It has been beautifully updated while keeping it's original charm. The vaulted ceiling in the open living room gives the home a spacious feeling. It is conservatively decorated with fun beach accents.The bright blue, red, and white colors are lovely. The home is located on a cul-de-sac lane, just a short walk to the beach. Evenings on the porch are spectacular.
