The house was amazing and exceeded all our expectations. View from the third floor wonderful and the bonus was looking for sea glass on the little cove out front. Wish we could stay longer.

A gem in Twillingate!

We wanted to visit Twillingate and had a super visit! The charm of the town was synonymous with the view from the loft!! Watching the sunrise over the ocean was spectacular!!Everything was clean, well equipped and comfy beds. Communication with Marie was easy and we had a wonderful stay! Would recommend!!

Charming and practical

This property has all the historical charm of days gone by along with all the present day conveniences. From the lovely third floor loft you will enjoy beautiful ocean views while having your morning coffee. I would 100% recommend this property for an enjoyable vacation

Loved loved loved this house! Just perfect for 4 adults travelling and hiking the trails in NL … location was perfect for us. The host was very responsive and extremely accommodating. And the neighbours were specular! We love the Newfoundland friendliness. I would come back every year if I could! Photos attached.

The house was immaculate when we arrived, filled with light, and blessed with a spectacular view. Check in went flawlessly. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Bedding and towels were generously supplied. It was pretty cold throughout our mid-May stay, so we were grateful to have a reliable heating system with thermostats we could change as needed. Although the cottage is right on the main road but north of the city core, we were unbothered by traffic noise. We saw three different icebergs on the horizon from the dining room window. Had it not been so cold, we would have walked 25 minutes into town for dinner and/or stared at the view while dining on the deck. The house is also close to very good hiking trails. We would recommend Wild Cove Retreat without reservations.

What a pleasure to have a home with the ocean as a back drop, also loved the third story bedroom. Appreciated that the laundry room was well stock with laundry esentials. Since there is only 1 bathroom, it would have been nice if there would be a large mirror in each of the bedrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

This home in Wild Cove, Twillingate exceeded my expectations!!!! So beautiful, clean, historic yet modern - and its location just a short jaunt around the road to the beach!! Simply incredible!! I have left a piece of my heart there. My only complaint, not enough time spent enjoying this perfect Newfoundland location and home. I simply must return someday!
