The property was clean and the grounds of the compound were gated and nicely landscaped. The pool area was nice and the area was generally quiet.

What an amazing stay! This villa was the perfect home away from home for our family of three. It was comfortable, peaceful, and we loved being right in front of the pool. One of our favorite parts of each morning was waking up to the sound of the howler monkeys. Such a unique Costa Rican experience!During our stay, we explored Rio Celeste, went on a canopy tour, and enjoyed horseback riding through the beautiful countryside. Our absolute favorite adventure, though, was spending the day with some wonderful locals. We saw white-faced monkeys, countless crocodiles, and ended the day with an authentic Costa Rican meal that was hands down the best food we had during our trip.Thank you for helping make this vacation so memorable. We leave with wonderful memories and can’t wait to come back. Pura Vida!

One of our best vacations ever! We can't wait to return. This place was absolutely wonderful for our family trip! The villa has warm, charming and an authentic Costa Rican atmosphere. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having the pool right outside our door felt like our own private pool, especially since only one other villa in the complex was occupied this week. The gated complex is like stepping into a private oasisOur host, Kathy, was fantastic—incredibly responsive and helpful both before and during the trip with great advice and local recommendations, including connecting us with Juan, an excellent surf instructor. Facundo and Sonia, the property managers were both great to have on-site for recommendations, arrangements and advice.Location-wise, Tamarindo is ideal. Almost everything was walkable, including the grocery store, shops, restaurants, the beach and a gym where my teenage boys got a weekly pass. Everyone loved it and wants to come back!

We just spent 10 days at Pueblo Colonial and it was a great place to stay. The pool was right outside our door and we could walk to everything. The property managers, Facundo and Sonia were also very attentive and helped with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This property is an absolute Gem ! The villa as advertised is close to town , beach , restaurants etc. Kathy was great to communicate with and always responded quickly to any questions I had . Sonia who runs Happy Trips arranged airport transfers and was also great at communicating back and forth .David who drove us both times was a good guy . On site Facundo was around everyday taking care of property and there to answer any questions or concerns . A genuinely nice young guy from Argentina who I chatted with in the mornings while having my coffee . The landscaping and pool make you feel you're in your own private resort. One of the most pleasant stays I've had at a rental for sure . I highly recommend and plan to return one day . Pura Vida

Casa Colorado was a very clean, lovely and comfortable 2 bedroom AC villa in Tamarindo! 15 minute walk to the beach! We were there late March early April when it was very hot. The AC and pool out our door was very much appreciated and used!Owner Kathy & Aaron left us with many good tips of what to do in the area and surrounding areas. The Panache Catamaran/ Snorkeling trip was one of the highlights of our stay, out of Flamingo beach. Our morning walks/swims on Tamarindo and nearby gorgeous and breezy beaches ( Langosta and Playa Grande) were our daily fitness routine. We didn’t rent a car but hired an Uber with Roger one day so we could explore/ horse ride/walk Brasilto, Conchal and Puerto Viejo beaches. Every beach has a few lunch spots. The food was always exceptional! This is a great VRBO condo in Tamarindo!

This was our 2nd visit to Kathy’s villa. We love everything about this location. No vehicle required for our group. Walking distance to groceries, restaurants and beach. The swimming pool, which is lovely and well maintained, was just a few steps from our veranda. The Villa is very well equipped with anything you will need. The host, Kathy, was always quick to respond before our trip. Sonia and Facundo, on site office and maintenance staff, are excellent and very helpful! Tamarindo is a fun location. Lots of lovely restaurants all along the massive beach and lots of shops around town. Will hopefully get back there some day! Cheers and Pura Vida!

Awesome place, great layout

We loved staying in this place - it was the best of the four places we stayed during our two weeks in Costa Rica. The house had a great layout and was well placed right across from the pool. There were several great restaurants within a couple blocks of the places.

A perfect stay in Tamarindo

Kathy's place was the perfect base for our one-month stay in Costa Rica. Her home is charming, and the house is perfectly located in front of the pool which was great for us. A short walk to the main part of town and the beach. We loved it and would stay again.

Amazing experience!!!!

This property was perfect from the moment we got to Tamarindo! The house is basically a 10-15 minute walk from everything in the city. After going out and exploring it was great to get in the pool to relax and cool off. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make this vacation to Tamarindo absolutely perfect!!!! We will definitely be booking this place again for a future trip!

Perfect stay!

We loved our stay in Casa Colorado! The townhome is perfectly appointed for a family of four, with a fully-equipped kitchen, all the beach and pool stuff you could need, and plenty of linens and towels. Having the most gorgeous pool right in front was also a huge bonus, especially after a day of surfing or excursions. When we left after our 9-day stay, we felt as though we were leaving our home! Everything in Tamarindo center was just a 10-minute walk away, and the Thursday night market, just around the corner, is not to be missed! Do not hesitate to book this wonderful home!

Fantastic Place in Tamarindo

Our family of four loved staying at Pueblo Colonial. Lots of space, clean and property managers very helpful and always available to answer question or for help. For 5 days this place was our base as we adventured Tamarindo and beyond with a rented golf cart. So much walking distance as well - beach, stores, restaurants and more. I would highly recommend this place with a shared pool right outside the door to enjoy as well.

Great property, loved location, property managers were always available and helpful. We rented a golf cart for ease of getting to beach and restaurants but very walkable which we also did several times. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the mattresses and pillows.

Thank you for being our guests! So glad you had a wonderful time. Yes our villa location is ideal for anyone who rents a golf cart. But I do love the walk to town. I just bought some additional pillows and will bring those down next time. Thanks for the feedback. Mattresses are an interesting thing. I absolutely love our master mattress. Literally my favorite in the world. I’ve said if there was a way to get it to my regular home, I would. 🤙🏽 Hope you can visit again!
