The views from this cabin were amazing. Lots of wildlife can be seen on the water too. When I took the Kayak out, I saw a seal seal nearly 20 feet from me. This section of hood canal has very warm water and was pleasant to get into. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything I needed.

Delightful beach property on a beautiful location of Hood Canal. Very clean. Has all the kitchen items you need, and beds are comfortable. The deck offers great views of the water.

So glad my husband booked this place. The scenery was nice right on the water and close access to restaurants and shopping needs. The host were super nice and very accommodating even left us a bottle of wine as a welcoming gift, the house was spacious and very clean , the kitchen was well stocked with supplies and spices along with all dishes pots and pans as well . Great patio out side with BBQ pit and views to enjoy with friends and family. They also have kayaks and a small boat for water craft enjoyment and they do have adult life vest f. There is an ac in the dayroom and master and fans in every room. They also have a smart tv in case you need to catch up with a game or have the family watch a movie although they have a table and chairs for board games. Our grandkids had such a wonderful time, we are definitely coming back

Kitchen was mostly equipped for what we needed, only things I would suggest that were missing are aluminum foil, zip lock bags, a decent oyster shucking knife and more spices, like paprika...Wi-Fi worked pretty well, depending on where in or out of the house you were, same goes for cell service.The house was definitely clean, and recently remodeled, beds were great!!

The house is very clean and it makes us feel like home. The owner was very nice to let our kids borrow some balls to play in the yard. It’s a family own for generations so they took good care of the property.

We try to think of everything you will need to easily prepare your own meals. It is fun to cook in a kitchen when the appropriate tools are provided and you can admire the amazing sunsets while you cook. Thanks for leaving the kitchen so tidy. Earline

What a lovely, private experience - soaking in the views from the covered deck - enjoying the expansive yard and watching the tide come in and go out. Comfortable beds and roomy bedrooms. (They even had fans for the hotter nights!) We cooked in two nights, and the kitchen had everything we needed. (I was also grateful for the coffee provided for our stay!!!) Based on the reviews I read - there were only two that were not 10 out of 10! Both appeared to not "follow the rules" (which were very clear and easy to understand). We never interacted with the owners who live next door...and actually found it comforting to know that if something needed their attention, they were nearby to help out. It will feel like you are coming to your own home within hours of being there...and if you forgot to get specific groceries, or need gas, both are quite convenient in the nearby town! Also convenient to this home, a venue with excellent wine tasting options and lovely nearby parks. We would go back in a heart beat!

I grew up on Hood Canal and when we had to sell our property, I hunted for other properties to rent for my family. Earline's property is the best I've ever rented and my family looks forward to returning each year. The house is spotless and all the rooms have ample storage. Even though there is air conditioning with the windows opened we found we didn't need to use it. It's wrap around decks and tables outside offers multiple places in sun or shade to eat and visit and enjoy the beautiful beach view. The large front yard and beautiful Madrona tree offer a wonderful place to play, visit and sunbath before swimming in the WARM water. For Non swimmers there's boats and kayaks. The well stocked kitchen is beautiful and large enough to prepare and serve food for a crowd while enjoying the beach view. At the end of the day the large dining table gave our family a place to play the many provided games while the ample living room offered others the chance to watch the large TV. The two bathrooms, plus the outside shower provide plenty of bathroom/shower space for all. Even though Earline and her husband live next door, they were wonderful hosts. They would come over only if we asked them for something. Otherwise they left us alone. I feel so blessed they are able to offer their beautiful property and hope to enjoy it many more times.
