Layout: Stugan har tre våningar: På övervåningen är ett stort öppet loft med två sängar i full storlek. Den bortre väggen är stencil med aspens och den har ett stort modernt matta över trägolvet. Den har en liten sittgrupp och en byrå för att lagra kläder.

Huvudgolvet har vackra skiffergolv i hela och mörka träbjälkar över taket. Det inbjudande vardagsrummet / TV-området har högt välvda tak och två stora ljuskronor. De naturliga timmerväggarna har en behaglig samling av svarta och vita vinterscener ovanför den mysiga soffan, belägen bredvid en brinnande gasspisvärmare. Det finns ett anpassat soffbord gjord av återvunnet trä över ett mjukt päls. Det finns en öppen matplats med vacker utsikt som är dekorerad med en unik samling av aspensstammar sammanflätade med glittrande ljus. Köket är öppet och modernt med rostfria vitvaror, en gasspis, slaktbänkskivor, öppna hyllor för disk och glas, och mörka takbjälkar ovanför. Utanför köket är det bakre däck som har fantastisk utsikt över bergstoppar och höga granträd. På bottenvåningen finns också sovrummet och det huvudsakliga spa-liknande badrummet. Det stora sovrummet har timmerväggar och mörka takbjälkar. Den innehåller en queen size-säng med en grå täcke, liten väggmonterad TV, lurvigt headboard och en öppen hylla ovan med inramade bergsscener. Det finns också en naturlig kvistspegel och en garderob för att lagra kläder.

Nedervåningen finns en stor L-formad soffa som är det perfekta loungearealet för att titta på sport eller njuta av en filmkväll. Det finns en kamrörvärmare nära sektionen som håller alla varma under den kalla vintern. Ett sovrum med inbyggda våningssängar har en fullstor säng nedanför och en dubbelsäng ovan med grå polka dot-täcken. Sovrummet har grå rutig tapet med färgglada konstverk och några söta fyllda djur. Det finns också ett angränsande badrum med en andra dusch. Nedervåningen har också ett öppet bord / skrivbord och en söt tvättstuga med kylskåp och en ny tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Bakdörren leder dig ut i den snöiga vildmarken.

Great for our family!

Love this property. Great decor and tons of room for our family of five. A little too close to highway, not very peaceful to sit outside in the evenings.. Wish the outdoor heater worked. Perfect location for Breckenridge, Frisco and Dillon activities - went White Water Rafting in Buena Vista with KODI rafting - EXCELLENT! Go bike riding around the Dillon Resivoir - beautiful views. Loved the small hike at the Waterfalls at Blue Lakes.

QUAINT, IDYLLIC PROPERTY

An ideal property for a family getaway but close enough to civilization for parental sanity. The property owner was a joy to work with and accommodated an early check-in time which was truly appreciated. Do not hesitate, this property is worth your visit.

Great chalet close to town but far enough out to really relax

My in-laws, my husband and I, and our 3 year old and 1 year old daughters had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, cozy chalet. Everything was well equipped, and we especially enjoyed the heater on the back deck so we could sit comfortably outside and enjoy the spectacular views. We loved the proximity to so many fun things. We went to see Isak Heartstone, the giant troll, and visited Blue Lakes, which was only about 10 minutes away to the start of the short trailhead. We loved our stay and are looking forward to visiting again next time!

The owner was amazing and accommodate us same day. The chalet is a dream! Clean, elegant, fun. Close enough to Breckenridge to enjoy the area, but remove enough to see more stars than we have ever seen. I can not recommend it enough and we will be back soon!

Beautiful chic cabin with amazing views of the mountains!

If you're wanting to stay in a peaceful location with beautiful views, this defintly needs to be your cabin! Not only is it in a perfect location close to Breckenridge, the decor and amenities are an added bonus. This house had everything we needed and was organized very well. The cabin was warm and inviting the second we walked in. There was also amazing star gazing with a visible view of the milky way! This cabin was so cozy and felt like home! Would defintly book again in a heart beat!

Great location away from the crowds, plenty of wildlife, but 2nd shower needs work/no cell service

We wanted to get away from the busy area around Mainstreet. The chalet is about 10-15 minutes away, which was perfect. We saw plenty of wildlife, including a moose in the front yard, which I doubt I would have seen had we stayed downtown. It's also just a mile or two away from the Quandry Peak trailhead, and the beautiful Blue Lake and waterfall. It's nicely decorated, and had everything that we needed. I have only two complaints: The first is the bathroom downstairs. The shower had almost NO water pressure, and was practically unusable. Also, that same shower and bathroom are in the same room as the bedroom with the bunk beds - there is no door to separate the two, and so if the beds are occupied, you cannot use the bathroom or shower without being seen. Also, we had a LOT of trouble with cell phone service. We were unable to make phone calls most of the time, and when we could, the people on the other end of the phone could not hear us. We had to drive closer to town in order to make a phone call.

Beautiful mountain chalet! Perfect fit for our family with 2 adults and 2 teen boys.

Our family came to Breckenridge to escape the Texas heat and that is certainly what happened! Weather was perfect and we found ourselves chilly at times! I forgot it was July! The chalet was decorated so nicely and it was a great place to return home to after our outings in the area. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with everything needed to make meals. The house has wonderful hot water, we noticed. Grill works great too! Some of us hiked the Quandary Peak which they said was great but challenging! We also went whitewater rafting in Buena Vista. Can’t say enough great things about Noah’s Ark River Rafting! Awesome experience! We also enjoyed daily drives into Breckenridge for shopping and dining. Such a cute mountain town! All in all, we had a great trip and look forward to our return at some point! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Perfect home for family vacation

This property was perfect for our family vacation. Conveniently located to downtown Breckenridge, but far enough away to offer a more secluded view. We were able to visit various cities while in Colorado. Buena Vista for whitewater rafting, Frisco for annual BBQ festival, downtown Breckenridge for massages, a multitude of hiking trails in between and of course shopping at all. Our days were filled with adventure and ended with a relaxing dinner at Chic Mountain Chalet. The kitchen had all utensils necessary to cook family dinners and plenty of gas for the gill for cooking on the deck. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you can expect to see when you arrive. Thank you Marlene for sharing your "Chic Mountain Chalet"

Quiet, beautiful views, modern home

The home is almost at the top outside of Breckinridge. It takes about 10-15 minutes to get into the town of Breckinridge which we really enjoyed because we could be located in the mountains with the nature and wildlife but still reach the town easily. The home has everything you need from air mattresses, extra blankets and pillows, hair dryers, and soaps! We had plenty of room to play games and enough beds for everyone to sleep with our large group. The house is adorably decorated and very comfortable. I would say the only complaint was that we weren’t aware of how hot the heating vents got and it ended up melting some of our bags from leaning against them. However, the home was perfect for our stay. My advice though, you will be 11,000 feet in elevation so prepare to be winded using the stairs lol oxygen tanks were available though!

This was a really great property, well maintained, well appointed!

The owners have done a great job of outfitting this chalet, a wonderful place to spend time with the family! They really have thought of every detail. The property is nicer than even advertised. Comfortable beds, plenty of space and room for the kids to play. I would recommend this property to anyone looking in the area!

Beautiful cozy house with plenty of space in a spectacular area!

We spent a lovely weekend in this beautiful house. It is decorated with love and care and is very very cozy. It was very clean and neat as well. Everything you might need is in there and much more. The area is beautiful and exactly what we needed to get out of the city!

Gorgeous home!

The chalet is amazing! Even more beautiful than pictured! The owner was super accommodating with our last minute trip to Breckinridge. The house is about a 15 min drive to Breckinridge town, great location. Loved everything about it, I would definitely recommend staying here!

Stunning views, beautifully decorated

Chalet Rogers was a perfect getaway for our family (2 adults, 6 of our kids--ages 1-11). There was plenty of room for everyone and the chalet is very comfortable. All of the rooms are beautifully decorated and adequately stocked with towels, blankets, and everything necessary for the kitchen. Marlene gave us really good directions to some local sights. We were really excited to wake up to a winter wonderland on the last day of our stay. Tip: if you are traveling with small children you might want to consider bringing a baby gate or two.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

The chalet was perfect and we had plenty of space for four adults. We enjoyed making dinner and exploring the area. The owner and property manager were highly responsive and helpful when we had questions before and during our stay. There was an unexpected late spring snowstorm and Marlene called to make sure we were prepared for it prior to our trip. The driveway was plowed out early every morning. The owner does a great job of providing recommendations for activities based on your interests. We would definitely recommend this property!

Fantastic property with beautiful views!

Loved the Chalet & the beautiful views of the mountains. Marlene was great & offered some wonderful ideas of things to do. Shopping in Breckinridge while my husband did some fly fishing along the blue river, bike riding on the trails to Frisco, hiking to see some beautiful waterfalls & horseback riding at Breckinridge stables were just some of the highlights of our trip. The chalet was roomy & offers another living area in the lower level along with a big loft & nicely decorated!

Ok. Have had cleaner and better working cabins.

The property was a little further from Breckinridge time wise. The downstairs shower did not work, and the stove top let off gas smell so we didnt use it. We saw fox and deer. The stars were great. Wonderful suggestions of places to go around the cabin for wildlife, and hiking. Overall we had a nice stay, i would warn of the very high altitude of which we were told before hand. So take that into account, the altitude did bother a couple people in our group.

Amazing time and lovely Chalet!

We had an amazing time at Breckenridge. We were only there Fri-Mon but we had a great time. We made a good decision in getting there on Friday to give our bodies time to adjust to the altitude. We did get headaches but they were quickly resolved by 9 pm. We spent Saturday at the Breck Fun Summer Park so worth the visit and the money. On Sunday we spent it at Lake Dillon, we rented a boat and spend the afternoon enjoying it. We had a blast! The chalet was quaint, cozy and yet modern. The beds were comfortable and it was very nice to have 2 living spaces. We are a family of six and we had space to spread out and not feel on top of each other. The views from the chalet are just superb and it was just so peaceful and quiet. The owner was excellent! She communicated effectively with us giving us options on things to do and was flexible. The agency who handles the property was also cordial and helpful. We have no complaints and we are looking forward to coming back again. Rent this chalet you won't regret it!

The chalet was the perfect mountain getaway for our family.

The chalet really did feel like a home away from home. Owners cut no corners with the designer decor. We loved everything from the wood paneled walls to the scented candle and aspen tree bundle with white lights in the kitchen. And the views? There aren't enough words. John Muir would approve. Breathtaking. It was also nice to be slightly away from the throngs of spring breakers. We loved making dinner in and taking the gorgeous sunset drive down the mountain to one of Breck's many eateries. We recommend The Hearthstone for an adult dinner and The Swiss Haven for fun family fondue. Finally, the Chalet was the perfect setup for a family whose kids need their own floor. The loft easily sleeps more adults and the adorable bunk setup with its own bathroom and laundry downstairs is very convenient. The owner and property manager were highly responsive and friendly when we had questions before and during our stay. We really don't want to leave today and will certainly be back soon! Our family loves to ski and snowboard. It is the only sport mom can do with her sons! We have great quality family time on our ski trips. We love to hike and this is a picture at the top of Quandary Peak! We have always wanted a place in the mountains to enjoy with our family.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We looked at properties that were ski-in and ski-out but decided the most beautiful area was in the mountains just south of Breckenridge. The trees and mountain vistas are off-the-charts beautiful. This was the first house our realtor showed us and none could compare afterwards.

Only 9 miles from Breckenridge Skiing and fabulous restaurants! Also, very close to Vail/ Beaver Creek, Copper Mountain, Keystone. The moose graze right next to the house. There are numerous hiking trails with mountain lakes and waterfalls in close proximity. There are four nearby 14'ers to climb with mountain goats galore. A 14'er is a mountain higher than 14 thousand feet. There are 56 14'ers in Colorado. There are also many local road bike trails.
