Great stay

The property was perfect for us, we enjoyed cooking big meals, hanging out in the yard, and loved the king size beds. Nelda was very communicative and helpful. Would recommend this VRBO!

Great house!

We really enjoyed our stay!! The house was exactly as listed and super comfortable and clean! Very convenient to all the attractions in New Braunfels! So neat to see deer in the front yard and behind the garage in the evenings. We will definitely be back!

Great stay!

Stayed at this location because we could walk to Wurstfest. Also took in a Longhorn (hook em) game and went to Fredericksburg. House was clean and spacious with a lovely patio. Neighborhood was quiet with several deer roaming around. Thank you Jim and Zelda!

Great experience

The house was super cozy and clean! The location was great because it is only minutes away from all of the restaurants and the tourism spots. Nelda was amazing! She answered any questions that we had and made sure we had a comfortable trip!

Friends Visit

The house was wonderful. Love the bedroom arrangement with easy access to both restroom. Was surprised there was no bath soap and no salt /pepper in kitchen. That being said, it was warm and inviting home with nice patio area for morning coffee and evening drinks. We had a wonderful visit. Looking forward to booking again

Cozy and comfortable, felt like home!

We enjoyed our stay very much, loved the decor, it made it feel like home. The location was perfect, walking distance to Schlitterbahn (day 1) and the Comal River (day 2). We will plan on returning here for future getaways. The kids loved it, too!!

Great location!

Perfect location to tubing and downtown. Great private outdoor space in the backyard. Kitchen was well stocked. We had some minor issues with sink and smoke alarm but had great communication with Nelda quickly. Overall recommend if you are wanting a house within walking distance to all things NB!

Perfect Family Getaway

So many good things to say! Everything is clean and comfortable, including the beds! The kitchen is well equipped and the table is great for board game night. The host is responsive and gives plenty details to enjoy our stay. I highly recommend this for a family or couples get away.

Cute house in New Braunfels

We had a great time at this cute house with our adult kids and spouses. We enjoyed grilling and eating on the patio and seeing the deer. The house is charming and just the right size for 3 couples. The location is convenient to dining, Schlitterbahn, tubing, or any other fun activity in the Hill Country.

Lovely home, great location, good communication.

This is the perfect spot in this town for a long weekend and it is hard to find a rental with all king beds, and they are all comfortable. Good communication with property manager. Highly recommend.

The perfect house for us!

This was the perfect house for us! Our 30+ year old sons really appreciated the comfy king sized beds, and the ceiling fans kept us all cool and comfortable. The location of the house was close to everywhere we wanted to go : Schlitterbahn, Gruene, downtown. Nelda, our host, was gracious and accommodating, and responded to our communications very quickly. Drinking morning coffee with our sons in the shady back yard, and having family game night around the kitchen table all contributed to making treasured memories at this cute, cozy house.

Perfect Location

As soon as you walk in you feel like your at home. This home is located just a few short blocks from the river we floated which was super convenient. As well as to being super kind, our host was very thorough on her instructions on check in and checking out. (I'm new to this). As she recommended, parking in the back is alot easier. This is where we decided to park the whole time.

The Star House

We have visited Schlitterbahn with our grand children 4 times in the past 7 years and have stayed at Borgfeld's Main Escape 3 of those times. We stayed at a motel the first time we came to New Braunfels, and will never do that again. My grand-daughter named it the Star House because of the décor. We discovered this house for our next visit and have decided there is no place else to stay. It is clean, convenient, and very comfortable. All three beds are kings, which are great, so there is plenty of room to get a good nights sleep. This is the right house for any occasion.

Nice location / Cozy Texas themed home

3 older couples visited Gruene/New Braunfels area to celebrate a birthday and anniversary. We found Nelda to be very accommodating, allowing us to access the home a few hours early. The house was cozy and nicely decorated. Beds were comfy, everyone said the slept well. Kitchen had everything we needed in the way of dishes, pots/pans etc. The back patio was very inviting - to bad it rained the entire time we were there so we didn't get to enjoy it! Would recommend this home and would go back. A little treat was all the deer, each evening we saw them in the yard-that was a nice surprise.

We are family owned and operated. We have rented the house for 4 years to tourists. We love this house because we have made so many upgrades.We have many returning guests every year-even our very first! We love talking to the people who stay in the house.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We bought this house because at the time some of my family had houses on the same street and we would all get together and float the Comal, and then cook together.
These are great memories.

The house has a nice floor plan with the master bedroom/bath on one side of the house and the other 2
bedrooms /bath on the other side. The location is really ideal where the action is, yet quiet. The Texas decor is a delight to our guests.
