About this space
Welcome to Perfect Perch at Three Suns Cabins! Experience a Nordic retreat located within the beautiful valley of the Red River and Three Suns Cabins. Enjoy a peaceful getaway with expansive mountain views, beach access, your own fire pit, fishing, kayaking, and private walking trails, and gorgeous mountain views straight from your hot tub! Perfect for an escape alone, with a partner, or a family-friendly adventure. Perfect Perch is Perfect for whatever you need for your unique experience.
The space
Step in to this Nordic style cabin, that offers the perfect space for both relaxation and recreation. The main living area boasts an spacious living room, kitchen, and a cute reading nook for the young and the young at heart. The loft includes two single beds as well as a trundle bed, to host five guests comfortably.âš
The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, a table for dinner or games, or bar seating. An electric fireplace adds a touch of warmth and ambiance to the living space, complemented by entertainment options on a smart TV.
The bedroom boasts a cozy queen-sized bed accompanied by a private fireplace and a second smart TV for added comfort. Step through to the back entrance, leading to a private deck overlooking the mountains. Sit down and relax in your private hot tub or relax by your private fire pit, where starlit evenings await amidst the expansive beauty of the Red River Valley.
Outside, Perfect Perch offers vast flat outdoor areas, ideal for gatherings and leisurely strolls. From your own back deck, you can follow a secret trail to discover a dedicated hammock area near a beach at the Red River, where you can immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of nature in your own private beach only shared with guests of Three Suns Cabins.
Whether seeking relaxation or adventure, Perfect Perch has everything you need to create lasting memories.

Other things to note
A starter amount of the following supplies is included at each cabin: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry detergent, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like.
Pets are not allowed and we cannot make any exceptions.
Body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided to guests.
There is a charcoal grill at the cabin, guests are asked to supply their own charcoal and lighter fluid.
Cell service might be spotty depending on your provider.
The cabin is on city water and is safe for all uses.
Firewood is not provided.
The kitchen is supplied with the basics: pots, pans, bowls, cups, utensils, etc.

Three Suns Cabins is owned by Bill and Mandy Shea. They have been enjoying the Red River Gorge area with their three sons since they moved to Kentucky in 2013. While hiking in the gorge, they found some land on the Red River and set out to build a community where others could come and enjoy the Gorge and all it has to offer. We hope you enjoy your stay at Three Suns Cabins!
