Always a good time in the Smokies

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely love this little cabin. We did have a few hang ups. The cabin wasn’t cleaned prior to us checking in and we couldn’t get the cleaners up there due to the snow. Francis and the owner of the cabin did get us fresh linens and we cleaned the cabin ourselves. And of course Francis made it right and agreeable for our satisfaction. This cabin company is always so accommodating. The furniture is getting worn and probably needs to be updated soon.

Long Weekend Away

We loved the location and views of the property! The cabin is down a gravel drive and secluded. The parking area was easy to park and turn vehicle around to come & go. The cabin was clean and the hot tub was clear and ready for our use. We only cooked a couple meals in the cabin, but it had the needed pots, pans, and cooking utensils. There is a spiral staircase to the bedroom on the lower level. There is also an older pull-out couch on the main level.

Another Great Stay!

The cabin is always clean and has gorgeous views and very secluded. This is our 4th time staying here - always love it!

Hatcher Mountain Cabin-May 15

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: *Property owner should be advised carpenter bees are doing extensive damage to cabin exterior. Especially on outside deck in back. Sawdust and holes drilled everywhere. They are not aggressive bees, so they did not bother us. But they are definitely doing a lot of damage to the property.*Strongly advise providing a "bear-proof" garbage container instead of a metal can in poor condition. We had bear activity around the cabin during the week, so we were afraid to leave any garbage in the can provided. Had to make multiple trips to dumpster at Cove Mountain Realty.*The BBQ grill provided was rusty and had holes in the bottom. We did not use it because we felt it unsafe.The easy access to the park itself through Metcalf Bottoms is always a drawing card for us.

Great place for a quick getaway.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hatcher’s Mountain cabin has an amazing view just as advertised. Being in Wears Valley we were away from all the people but yet still only 15 min drive into Pigeon Forge. We like staying in Wears Valley cause it’s quit and we can be in the National park in 10 min. The only issue we had was finding the cabin. Google maps has two Indigo Ln’s and not a Indigo way. The directions say driveway just past lighted lamppost. What was failed to be mentioned was the lamp post was burnt in the Hatcher Mountain-Indigo Lane fire 3/30/22. There is now Cove Mountain Reality sign in its place. over all we enjoyed our short stay at the Hatcher’s Mountain Cabin.

Christmas Getaway

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we loved the place. Amazing location. Close and convenient to lots of stuff. Two things I’d suggest, first of all please include turn by turn directions for every guest as GPS takes you to the wrong place and trying to find this place in the dark was next to impossible. Put a sign or the house number at the top of the drive and make it easier to find. And second, please replace the shower curtains. They were very dirty/moldy.

Cozy cabin with lovely view and outdoor hot tub

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this cabin in 2014 and were thrilled that we could rent it again. The views from the upper and lower decks were spectacular! We ate breakfast and dinner there most days (7 nights). Location to GSMNP was one of our reasons for staying as we hiked daily. The hot tub was enjoyable.Two cautions: road leading to cabin is steep and narrow. The winding stairway to lower floor, where bed is, isn’t for a anyone with balance issues.

October 2023 Stay

Great location, extremely private. We had some turkeys, raccoons and flying squirrels. Mr Hatcher stopped by the morning we were leaving, we had a nice chat and learned some history of the area.

And the hot tub on the porch was perfect after a long day of hiking!! The bed mattress was so comfortable, the shower water pressure was great!! And the tv actually worked!! We had a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

Great cabin for 2 with a beautiful view

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was able to book this cabin just a week ahead of time for a late-planned weekend getaway. I liked the location being 30 min drive to Dollywood and 1 hr drive to Cades Cove. The cabin was nicely secluded from the heavy tourist areas and spaced out from the other cabins, but just a 5 min drive from the main road with some diners and coffee shops. Cabin was well-kept and clean with plenty of towels provided. Perfect size for 2 people. We liked the hot tub and the back patio view of the mountains was pretty. We wished some ground coffee or tea was provided to make, so next time I would bring some (they provide just salt, pepper, and cookware/dishes). The gravel road to get to our cabin was unmarked so we were unsure if it was right at first since it was night, but we followed Google maps and found it. The gravel road to the cabin is a little steep and winding, but we were able to drive fine on it without 4-wheel drive during the fall. Overall a great place to stay to enjoy the Smokey Mountains!
