Delightful and relaxing girls getaway

This home is so special, warm, and welcoming. The hosts created a relaxing environment with music and snacks as soon as you entered! It was the perfect spot for a best friend getaway. I would love to come back!

Excellent accommodations! Smelled like a 5 star hotel when we walked in. Extremely clean. Everything was provided to make our stay comfortable. Every detail was thought through. Beautiful, quiet back yard to relax in was a bonus! Beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend. We hope to return again soon!

1929 Cottage

The cottage was clean and welcoming, with a front porch perfect for enjoying morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail. The decor and attention detail were exceptional, exactly what one would anticipate from a 1929 cottage. We met the owners as well -- what a fun couple!

The house was located close to Main Street and all of the attractions. Quiet neighborhood. Lovely backyard with spa. They provided goodies too! Good shower pressure. Comfortable furniture and bedding. We would stay there again.

Quaint and relaxing

We picked the property because we wanted something away from the busyness of Austin and not necessarily right next to Main Street in Fredericksburg. We stayed for two nights, and the property had everything we needed. There were a couple of maintenance issues, but we communicated them directly to the property management. The property was clean and organized. Super cute and would definitely stay again!

Quality vintage charmer

Great location, excellent vintage home with first class renovation. Welcome book and home directions were precise and complete. We were very comfortable in our stay. Host thought through many details for the traveler, including a snack basket! The backyard is a beautiful sanctuary.

Absolutely wonderful!

The home is beautiful and clean and exactly as listed. I wanted to move in the moment we got there. Everything was clean and decorated beautifully. The backyard is fantastic and the hot tub was a Godsend after working and on our feet all day. Looking to plan another trip back with my husband. Elsie was a lovely touch too.

Perfectly comfortable

I stayed at this home with my dog and my adult children joined me for a few nights. I felt safe and the home is easy to access Main Street. My dog enjoyed the yard and we enjoyed the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet.

Well appointed and great location!

We had an incredible stay! The home had everything we needed for a long Memorial Day weekend. It is in a great location just minutes from downtown shops and restaurants and just off the highway to make for an easy trip out to enjoy the wineries. Check in was easy and the back yard was perfect for relaxing and playing yard games supplied by the host. Would definitely stay again.

Very charming, spacious, quiet, clean beautifully decorated 2-bdrm/2 bath farmhouse

We stayed here to see the 2024 Total Eclipse in Fredericksburg! We really enjoyed our time at the house!!! Well maintained and preserved farmhouse with charming decorations and special touches throughout. Spacious living room, dining room and well stocked large kitchen with all the glassware, dishes and cookware you could need! Wonderful coffee bar that was fully stocked! Fun family games in the buffet cabinet to play on the full sized dining room table. Large soaking bathtub in one bathroom and walk in shower in other bathroom! Plenty of towels for bathing and for the hot tub! Lots of shampoos/conditioners available! Full sized laundry available. Outdoor area was super pleasant with well maintained yard; a relaxing hot tub, grill, fire pit, picnic table and yard games! And a pleasant sitting porch in the front of the house! We would definitely rent the 1929 Craftsman Charmer again!!

Attention to detail was evident. Beautiful furnishing and decorations. Love all the wood! Loved the hot tub and fire table. Only suggestion I would have is a potato masher to add to the already extensive kitchen utinsels. Will stay here again!

Beautiful Home with attention to detail.

From the front door to the great back yard, this home had exactly what my bestie and I needed for our two night Momcation. The beds were piled high with pillows and the beds were comfortable. There is a tub in the first restroom and then a walk in shower in the second. Bro f mobility impaired I appreciated the walk in shower and chair height toilets. Though this listing had steps, they were easy for me to manage. We loved the book of house history and found the local guidebook.helpful. Thanks for thinking of the hot tub! These two mama’s truly appreciated it! This house is beautifully restored and this was perfect for two moms getting away for a girls trip. We loved the smell of the house! What is the smell?????
