The Cabin at Oaks Village ligger 2 miles från LU campus men känns som landet bor. Med vacker utsikt över LU Medical Building och Lynchburg Regional Airport, kommer du njuta av att njuta av morgonkaffe i det ljusa solrummet eller rymliga däck. Också i köket finns badrum / tvättstuga med full storlek tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Det vackra solrummet är möblerat med korgstolar - ett bra ställe att läsa och njuta av kaffe på morgonen. Av solrummet är däck, komplett med bord, paraply och stolar - ett annat bra ställe att koppla av!

Graduation weekend at the cabin

Very peaceful property and so conveniently located to LU campus. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple simple meals. Really enjoyed the stay!

Beautiful Setting

Lovely views and cozy, clean, cabin with great kitchen and lots of extras provided. Our grandchildren came over and enjoyed playing in the big yard and exploring the wooded areas behind the cabin. Love the history of this Family Cabin.

Peaceful Place

Great little cabin about 3 miles from Liberty’s campus! I stayed there with my adult son and teen daughter, so it can accommodate 3-4 people. Would definitely stay there again!!

Weekend Getaway

It was a very clean house. Loved that is was close to everything but at the same time secluded. Nice view from the back porch. Would recommend this house to anyone and would for sure stay there again.

The setting for this little home was absolutely stunning. We felt like we were in a very rural area, but with the added bonus of having access to restaurants, shopping etc. The cabin was impeccably clean and sparkling...a lot of thought was given to the provisions within. We will be returning.

Close to Liberty University

We were visiting Liberty University for CFAW and needed somewhere to stay for my son and I. This was a quaint little cottage that was fitting for what we needed. Very clean and new even though the house is an old farm house. Would recommend.

Such a pleasant stay.

I really enjoyed my time in this beautiful little home on a gorgeous hill looking at the cows and the Liberty Mountain. It was so clean and had absolutely everything you need. The bed was comfortable and the family room welcoming and a nice porch. The bathroom is really great too. It’s close to everything but quiet and away from it all too. 5 stars indeed. I would be honored to stay again sometime. Thank you!

This is a very nice property. The location is out of the way, comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The gentleman who helped us fix our trailer motorcycle mount went above and beyond! You can tell the property manager takes loving care of this place. There are wonderful touches with old family photos, cows and deer in the back field and a great sunny covered porch for relaxing.

Perfect secluded oasis

I was looking for a peaceful spot to stay for a long weekend in Lynchburg and found it! Quiet pastoral setting is a perfect description for this cabin. The location was in a quiet neighborhood yet was only 5 minutes from a store or restaurant. It was neat, clean and had all the amenities you might need for your trip away from home. We loved the sunroom and drank our morning coffee there while watching the cows. Reading the family history along with pictures gave a personal connection to the place. We would highly recommend this cabin and it will definitely be our first lodging choice if we ever need logging again in Lynchburg.

Peaceful stay so close to the city!

This was ideal place for us to stay on our first visit to Lynchburg! The tranquil environment, privacy of woods, spacious yard, beautiful views of hills, grazing cows, and a city in the distance were just the break we needed from the busy, big city life we are accustomed to in FL. We loved waking up to the sunrise view right in the bedroom window. The house is fully equipped with everything to make a weary traveler feel comfortable. The only (small) concern is that if you are tall, beware of the very short doorframe leading to bathroom and laundry. Not suitable for tall people! Otherwise, it was a truly remarkable experience; and with so many other options, we would choose this place again!

Charming!

This place was darling, clean and well-maintained. The location is idyllic and quiet even though you are in Lynchburg proper. We adored seeing cows in the morning and listening to crickets at night. I would absolutely stay here again. If you are planning on doing cooking I would recommend communicating with the property manager ahead of time to find out what supplies are on-site. We dined out the entire time we were there.

My name is Laura Lin and I manage rental properties for my parents. I grew up in Lynchburg but left when I married. My husband, David, and I lived in Raleigh, NC for 28 years before returning to Lynchburg in 2016. We plan to live out the rest of our years here in the heart of Virginia!

The Cabin at Oaks Village is a very special place to me. It was the home of my maternal grandparents. The Cabin and the surrounding 20 acres have been in my family for over 100 years. In 2015 we completed a total makeover of the property and now enjoy sharing this special place with others.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

What I love most about The Cabin is the farm setting. It is so quiet and there is always a nice breeze, even on the hottest days. The view of the Lynchburg Airport is very nice and of course the morning and evening skies are gorgeous. You feel like you are deep in the country, but in reality, Liberty University Campus is just 2 miles away as well as plenty of shopping and eateries.
