We loved our stay! Our family of 6 adults stayed for 4 nights, There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen space was stunning. The kitchen was well equipped. The lake access was wonderful. We added the rental of a pontoon boat and thoroughly enjoyed the lake. Lauren touched base to make sure that we didn’t need anything. We highly recommend a stay here. You will love it!

5/5 Stars – Incredible Stay! We will definitely be back!We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house itself is spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably maintained. The hosts clearly thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable and stress-free. There were super clear instructions provided for using the sauna, hot tub, fire pits, and lake toys, which made enjoying all the amenities completely effortless.The location could not be better, great lakefront views right from the property, yet conveniently located within 10 minutes of local restaurants and grocery stores. The hosts were incredibly responsive throughout our stay, check-in and check-out were a breeze, and our group felt safe and at home the entire time.Thank you for a fantastic trip! We are already looking forward to coming back!

The house is a perfect retreat. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate the family. Bonus rooms include the game room and the yoga nook. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, cookware, appliances, coffee makers, etc. Bedding is very comfortable. The hot tub heats well. The property is situated on a quiet alcove on the lake. Overall great experience and would recommend this place to enjoy your time away

What a wonderful location! Everything about our stay (bachelorette trip) was immaculate. The hosts were extremely communicative. The house is listed as a "wellness escape" and that's exactly what it is. We enjoyed time in the hot tub, sauna and even had a private yoga instructor come in to teach a class. She commented on what a great job the owners did outfitting the yoga studio. Will absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful, well stocked LKN home

One of the most thoughtfully decorated and stocked homes I’ve had the pleasure of staying at! The hosts were super responsive to our requests. The house is brand new. Pots, pans, workout room, even a spare tooth brush in case you needed it is provided. We docked our 24 ft pontoon at the private dock and enjoyed the paddle boards. I highly recommend this property for your stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at this property, truly one of the most relaxing and enjoyable spring breaks we’ve had. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly well stocked with everything we needed to feel right at home.The owner was fantastic, very responsive, attentive, and clearly cares about making sure guests have a great experience. Their taste in decor and furnishings is A - beds are super comfortable!!!!!There was something for everyone. The kids had an absolute blast with the paddle boards and kayaks, while the adults loved unwinding in the sauna and taking refreshing dips in the “cold plunge” lake. We also rented a boat for a few days, which made it even more special to cruise around and take in the scenery. A stop at the Blue Parrot was a fun highlight as well.Overall, it was a simple, serene, and memorable getaway.

The house was beautiful. We had a great time bringing in the New year, here. The game room was super fun, as well as the family board games, provided. Loved the sauna and hot tub. Great laundry room. I particularly Liked the kitchen appliances: coffee makers, air fryer, toaster, and the nice dishes and pots/pans. I appreciate that we were provided with quality items in the house. Only one of us did kayaking since it was too cold, but that is another great option, provided. Lauren, was an excellent host!

Our family has been coming to Lake Norman for the past 15 years and has never rented the same home twice, however Foxtail retreat has put an end to that. The home is 10/10 with plenty of room for our growing family. It is extremely well appointed with thoughtful details throughout. The stay was a luxurious home away from home and we can not think of anything that our hosts forgot to include. The location on the lake is perfect for swimming in a quiet cove yet close enough to the main channel to quickly access all of the water sport fun. What a treat to return home to the hot tub and sauna. We also enjoyed morning workouts and restorative yoga in the wellness room in the evenings. The kitchen was a joy to cook even and fully stocked with cookware and serving pieces. Even the rainy day didn’t bother us as there was no shortage of things to do. We enjoyed games in the game room and movies in the cottage. We can’t thank Lauren and Ed enough for a great stay. We’ve already booked for next year and can’t wait to return.

We had an incredible experience at the FoxRetreat! The home was beautiful, so well stocked, clean, and had an amazing view. The cove is quiet and was great for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding. We rented a boat for the week through Lake Effects and they delivered and picked up right at the dock! Could not have been happier with the accommodations, and hope to come back!

Property was perfect size for our family of 5 including grandma and 2 teens. Amenities were in excellent condition and easy to use thanks to the instructions posted. The house is well appointed and had everything we needed including wood and utensils for the fire pit (thank you)! Easy access to jet ski rentals too. The only thing missing was a fly swatter and the grill needed cleaning. A lot of cobwebs on the dock and house outside as well as inside the game room. Overall a great stay that I would recommend and stay at again.
