Best vacation ever!

The property exceeded our expectations! Nestled in a quiet cove just off the main channel with deep water access at the dock for our boat and plenty of swimming! Can’t wait to visit again!

great location, peaceful setting

We had a girls weekend at this fabulous home. The location on the water was peaceful and private. Just a short 10 minute drive to grocery store and dining. The house was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay.

Fabulous lakeside home

This property easily accommodated 14 family members, with a fabulous guest house that was perfect for the honeymoon couple. The sunsets were breathtaking and the dock was perfect for all our water toys. The great room looks onto the water and is perfect for large groups to gather/eat/play games. We will definitely be back.

Wedding Weekend House

We rented this house with extended family (adults and adult children) for our stay on Lake Norman for our son’s wedding. We have rented a number of VRBO homes around the country over the last few years and this was by far the best. Beside being clean and comfortable it was well equipped and we did not open cabinets to find leftover food, etc. from previous renters! The only thing I would suggest would be the addition of a small chair in each bedroom and perhaps a full length mirror somewhere. All in all it was perfect.

Beautiful House & Guest House

Just loved the way the homes are finished, over the top quality and classy. We had a great time and it was so convenient to have the guest house close to the water for the kids. Did lots of hanging out there. Loved the large deck at the main house, the ensuite bathrooms, bunk room, beautiful kitchen and laundry area.We used the boat everyday, went to waterfront restaurants for lunch and dinner. We also did kayaking, water boarding, jet skis. We stayed in the guest house, so we 'lived next door' for a week. The grandkids came every morning for breakfast. This was special for us because our kids live in 5 different states. Nothing like quality family time and beautiful surroundings. And the sunsets are more than amazing!

Breath taking property that accomadates a large family.

The check in and check out was made with ease with the help of Pam. Pam met us at the property and answered all of our questions with a smile. My husband and I had our families meet for the first time and there was plenty of room for the three separate families. My husband's younger brothers loved the bunk bed room! The two large master bedrooms were liked by my in laws and my parents. The smaller guest house made for a nice private suite.I read some of the reviews before booking this house and someone stated that there was not many large serving plates, so before coming I bought some disposable platters and it worked out perfectly for our large dinners. We also appreciated that the house comes with paper towels, garbage bags, laundry detergent and toilet paper. The grille seemed to take a really long time to heat up, but once it was heated up, it worked fine. I definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a family get away with the best sunrises and sunsets!!!

Incredible Views

I want to preface this review by saying that I have owned investment properties and rented them out through VRBO and know the challenges of keeping everything perfect for guests upon their arrival. With that said, this property is very nice with the back yard and guest house being the stars. It is located in a cove that is very private and hardly any boat traffic. The back deck is great in the evening, but the sun can be challenging during the summer months as it faces West and gets pretty hot. The dock definitely needs some TLC, but was a great place to be during the day floating on rafts and just hanging out. Bring your own lounge chairs though for the dock as it doesn't come with any. The house was well equipped with everything you would need. I will say we had an issue with a mattress that the management company resolved for us quickly. And the cleaning crew could have done a better job cleaning one of the shower drains as well. One thing to be aware of is that the first bedroom on the right does NOT have a bathroom door. Maybe their working on getting one, but if you like your privacy then do not choose this bedroom. The water pressure and the A/C worked great. The guest house is so nice and whoever ends up in that is going to be pretty stoked! The management company for this property was fantastic! Any issues we had during our stay, they resolved them very quickly! A great place to stay and we would rent it again.

Amazing home for a relaxing getaway

The Hideaway property is fantastic. My group consisted of 9 adults ages 45-55. The house easily accommodated us and is well appointed. We spent a lot of time outside on the deck and at the fire pit, enjoying the scenic beauty of the lake. We would return with hesitation.
