Real strandhus på en av Bostons områden som är mest vackra och rena stränder. Detta är ett välskött, tre sovrum, enda berättelse "cape", med trevlig främre däck och lätt utanför gatan parkering för minst 3 bilar.

Good Harbor Beach - ligger på Thatcher Road, Rte 127A, är Good Harbor en vacker strand med härlig, vit sand som vetter mot Atlanten. Vid lågvatten kan man gå ut till Salt Island medan vid högvatten kan man njuta av kropps surfing eller boogie styrelser. Badvakter är i tjänst Memorial Day helgen till Labor Day 9:00 till 05:00 dagligen. Surfing, uppblåsbara föremål och alla flyt enheter med undantag av frigolit boogie styrelser är förbjudna under de timmar badvakter är i tjänst. Alkohol är också förbjudet. Gloucester har antagit en Carry In - Carry Out Policy för Good Harbor och Wingaersheek stränder så var beredd att utföra något skräp med dig när du lämnar. Mat, dryck, strand leksaker, och andra stranden förnödenheter finns på koncessionen.

Awesome Stay

The cottage was perfect. Had a great time, made plenty of memories together with our two dogs. Views are amazing and beach access is the best. Owner very responsive and accommodating. Highest recommendation. We hope to go back when able. Stayed for a month. Best month of the year!

26th Year in Glosta!

What a week we had…great time with family and friends. Tried new restaurants and spent evenings playing board and card games. You can’t beat this location for easy access to Good Harbor, walking to the ice cream stand, etc.

Best View Ever

Although weather was not very cooperative, the view was fabulous. Very relaxing watching the waves, the surfers and enjoying the islands and lighthouses. Thanks for sharing your summer cottage.

Gloucester getaway

Perfect vacation house. Deck overlooks ocean and is just steps from great beach! Owner is very attentive to needs and quick with replies. My family has enjoyed for 2 summers now and plan on next summer too!

The perfect winter getaway

Lovely views of Good Harbor Beach. Two minute walk and you are there! Spectacular waves especially when a Noreaster blows through. Fireplace makes the cottage so cozy. Eric is a super host and provided everything we needed. We loved our winter getaway!!

Perfect Beach House

This beach house has so much to offer...steps from Good Harbor Beach, wonderful deck with great view, great area to walk and just a quick walk to Bass Rocks. The house is very well kept and is cozy and comfortable! A beautiful gas fireplace to warm up by on those chilly nights. Great communication with host. Already looking forward to returning.

GHB Getaway

Delightful beach house only steps away from Good Harbor Beach. Enjoyed beautiful sunrises, shorebirds and the convenience of being so near the ocean. I found the house to be a recording of reminiscencies of earlier times in Gloucester. There were wonderful books and pictures available to enjoy. Also a collection of movies to watch if you have spare time. The fireplace was a great way to warm up on chilly days. Hope to return again.

best views of Good Harbor Beach

Perfect spot for our family of 5 to enjoy a vacation and be able to maintain social distancing! We basically lived on the deck overlooking the beach! Loved that it is pet friendly and our dog got to take his 1st dip in the ocean. House was clean. Ceiling fans in every room keep it nice and cool. Great selection of movies for the DVD player! Nothing beats enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise over Thatcher Island from the deck! We have been going to Good Harbor beach for years but this is our first year at 2 Beach Road....hopefully not our last! Eric is quick to respond to questions and very helpful!

Great Location & Beautiful View

This was our first year staying at 2 Beach Road. The owner Eric is very accommodating and easy to work with. You can’t beat the location, just a few steps to the Good Harbor Beach footbridge. Fabulous view of the beach, the Twin Lights and Salt Island. We’ve been staying at Good Harbor Beach for over 20 years and this was the best location we ever had. Great living/dining room and outside deck. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful getaway

Stayed here with my husband, our two boys (8 and 5), our two dogs, and my parents last week. We had an amazing time - luckily the weather and tide schedule allowed for lots of beach time, walking to Salt Island, swimming, playing in the sand, boogie boarding, etc. The house itself was just lovely - very clean and well maintained. Plenty of room for the 6 of us and 2 medium dogs. We were all thankful for the ceiling fans especially during the extreme heat wave. Kitchen was smaller than anticipated, but so it goes with a beach cottage. The view from the deck was unbeatable - spent lots of time eating, grilling, and soaking in the view! Kids (and dogs) loved the mazes of hidden gardens. Felt very private despite lots of cars and people nearby with the foot bridge. At times was a bit loud on Fri/Sat nights with the youth going on and off the beach at night, cars coming and going, etc. Weekdays were much quieter. We will be back! Thanks to Eric for being so responsive and helpful.

Our Family had the best vacation at this wonderful home. The view and the accessibility to beautiful good harbor beach was wonderful and so relaxing. The house was beautiful and so well equipped with everything one would need for a week away. Looking forward to next summer!!!

Charming Seaside Home

Our first stay at this property. Location, Location WOW!! This home had everything that our family needed. Along with being very clean and very well stocked, it’s within walking distance of stores, Bass Rocks overlook and oh... the ice cream shop. Steps to the beach and What a View!! Already looking forward to next year. Enjoy!

Beach on Demand. Fresh Food a bikeride away. Complete, but compact kitchen.

Perfect for a family that wants either to live simply for a few days, or join in Gloucester's varied city life. Once you unload the car, you won't need it until it's time to leave.

The best view of Good Harbor in Gloucester.

A great summer cottage a stones throw away from Good Harbor Beach. Life doesn't get any better then watching the tide come in and grilling on the spacious deck. Appreciate the amenities for being able to do laundry and a stocked kitchen to cook at home and enjoy the view for dinner and lunch. My kids loved being so close to the beach to play and then have a home base to retreat and relaxed too. Great vacation!

Awesome, as usual!!

This was our 3rd year at this property and as usual, a wonderful week. Our 20th year vacationing in Gloucester and the weather couldn’t have been better. Easy walk to the beach (took 1 minute tops to our favorite spot). We ventured to Rocky Neck one afternoon for a great lunch at The Studio, did trivia at Minglewood Tavern downtown, and enjoyed the summer sidewalk bazaar on Friday. Breakfast at Sugar Mags never disappoints. We enjoyed grilling and lounging on the deck when a break from the sun was needed. All in all, another memorable family vacation. Already looking forward to next year.

Another Amazing Gloucester Vacation

This was our 19th year vacationing in Gloucester and our 2nd year in this beach house. What an awesome time we had. You can't beat the location, weather, friendliness of everyone in the area and we had several walks on the beach as well as down to Bass Rocks and the ice cream stand. Grocery store is close enough to walk to as well. Spending an afternoon sitting on the deck, with a beverage, looking at the beach and enjoying the breeze is a great way to relax. We enjoyed the grill and the house is perfect for our "kids" (24 & 19) Already looking forward to next year!

Good Harbor Beach is truly a wonderful beach with soft clean sand & crystal clear water. Right across the foot bridge; this is just the right house to enjoy it from.
Please review pictures, this house on the beach at the footbridge, not just somewhere in the neighborhood. Note new views in photographs from updated "wall of glass" four unit slider and vent windows.

Walk to beach any time barefoot. Sit on the deck in your most comfortable clothes and savor early morning and evening quiet. One mile into Gloucester Center for everything from whale watching to urbane nightlife.
