Vår stuga ligger på två nivåer - var och en med mer än tillräcklig parkering - och bara 1 steg upp till däck!
* Huvudnivå har vardagsrum, matsal, kök samt 2 kung sovrum och 2 badrum. Ytterligare sovplats finns tillgängligt via en bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet och en futon i sovrummet.

I put this information into the guest book, so feel free to copy that into this spot. It was the perfect place for our family. I was somewhat concerned looking at the pictures, because businesses tend to use wide angle lenses to make rooms seem bigger, but the display showed a perfect place for us to have plenty of room to eat and play games together.

We were very pleased when we arrived at Golden View Cabin! Very private and perfect for our family of 11 adults and 2 children! We loved coffee on the back deck each morning before starting our day and ending our day on the front porch! We were fortunate to see several bears during our stay and we loved it! My 86 year old Dad said he liked this trip better than our multiple Colorado trips! I’m a fan of the Smoky Mountains and this well kept, beautiful cabin! The hosts were very responsive. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin!

Location of property was fantastic. Not too far from civilization but still up a mountain and secluded enough in the little community where it could still be all yours. WE SAW A BEAR ALMOST EVERY DAY. It was wild! Communication with host was great and clear. The only things I will note though is that the cleanliness of a couple of the futons/pull out couches were not the greatest. As well as the blankets that were provided in the closets. Lastly I do think it might be time to replace some of the pots and pans in the kitchen as a few of them are warped. But thats nitpicking. Overall we enjoyed our stay greatly and if we do ever come back to this area, we will book here again!

Cabin was exactly as described and pictured. Beautiful views, private and quiet. Kitchen was fully loaded and very easy to cook in. We really enjoyed the fire pit and the views! Perfect for a family get together!

The property was absolutely amazing and exactly what we were looking for. The views, even on rainy days was breathtaking. All communication with the owners was seamless and prompt. Our only issues was that we had to leave and wanted to stay. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful experience booking and staying at this cabin. The owners were great about responding and were patient when I was late doing the same. The cabin is exactly as pictured. Very large, clean and comfortable. Everyone was thrilled to have their own room with a bathroom and everybody slept really well. I know I personally loved the mattress on our bed. Even the pillows were comfortable. There were extra pillows and blankets in the closet too. The view is absolutely amazing and we all miss it. One of our favorite memories is a black bear walking up and looking in the door. I think the kitchen could have been stocked with a bit more stuff and we weren't given a lot of bath towels to use. Sometimes in rentals people leave behind paper products, condiments, etc. but there weren't any. Not a big deal of course. The drive up is tough. Very steep with a few switchbacks along the way. Sadly, and nothing to do with the rental property, we think it damaged the transmission in our car. I'd definitely recommend renting and something with 4wd. I highly recommend this cabin. You won't be sorry.

We had close to 20 of our family members staying over Christmas and there was plenty of room for everyone, on top of plenty of things for all the kids to do. It was very clean and welcoming. The host were also very responsive. I would highly recommend booking this cabin for a great family getaway.

Awesome Stay

We stayed at this beautiful home for our daughter's wedding at Dancing Bear. Such an amazing stay - very well maintained and clean. The views are absolutely amazing and the location is perfect!

Beautiful rest

This property had beautiful views and gave us privacy. The house was very spacious, offered plenty of activity for the whole family, and was well stocked with kitchen needs. A GREAT property!!!We loved it.

Amazing views

We absolutely loved staying at the property. It was clean and well kept. One of our favorites things was there was plenty of chairs on the decks where you could sit and relax while taking in the views. The owners were responsive and wonderful and it was a true retreat.

Smoky Mountain Golden Cabins

Our family of eight had plenty of room and privacy. The cabin was beautiful and clean. The location was perfect with incredible views from the deck. The Tisch’s were wonderful hosts with constant and quick communications. We will certainly stay there again.

Donn and Margaret Tisch are the owners/managers of Smoky Mountain Golden Cabins - where you rent from the owners! Smoky Mountain Golden Cabins specializes in secluded and private setting cabins in Wears Valley, Tn. Donn grew up on the farm and has tried his hand at several professions including working as a chef, managing a dry cleaning plant and an over the road trucker before finding his way into the vacation rental business. Margaret is originally from Ireland (part of why she so loves Wears Valley, it reminds her of home!) and she has called the United States her home since moving here in the 1980's. Margaret has owned a cleaning company in Florida, is widely known as the best mother in the whole world and has spent the last several years working in retail at one of the major box stores. Donn and Margaret have two grown son's. Our eldest son, Jerry is married to his wife Nikki and they have one son named Artie and daughter due in summer of 2019. Jerry and Nikki also own cabins they rent in Wears Valley. Our youngest son, Bobby, is soon to be moving to the area and joining us in management and maintenance of our cabins! It is our faith that directs who we are and what we believe. When it comes to our guests experience in one of our vacation properties, we hope to provide a setting of rest and peaceful relaxation. We believe that in this busy world all too often the first thing lost are those special times with family and friends. We hope guests will at some point during their stay, make a special memory that they will carry for their life time. Time is short and we are but only here for a little while - So take some time to come to the mountains, breath in that fresh mountain air and take in all the grandeur and beauty! Spend sometime on the porch in a rocker or relaxing in the hot tub and let the cares of the world pass by! At Smoky Mountain Golden Cabins we are in the business of making memories that last a life time!
