Great for the whole family

We had ages 1-74 and everyone had a great time. We liked being able to walk into downtown Weaverville where we found places to eat, things to see and a playground for the kids. The house was very comfortable without being "fussy." We will be back.

Very nice place to stay

Home was just as described, I called a couple times to ask a few things and they were really responsive and helpful! Family enjoyed the home and will definitely be back on our next trip to Asheville

Cabin felt like home!

Perfect place to stay to celebrate our granddaughters wedding at Claxton Farms. There were 10 of us staying here easily and 2 dogs that were watching rabbits from the deck. Highly recommend and would definitely rent again!

Family Thanksgiving

Property was exactly as described in the listing. The location was very convenient as we were celebrating the holiday with family in Marshall. The location was very walkable to downtown Weaverville, which had some nice dining options!

The cabin was wonderful. The attention to decor and everyday needs was great. It was very relaxing and a welcome sight when we returned in the evenings. I hope we can stay there again.

Perfect spot!

My family and I loved the cabin! It was perfect for what we were looking for. The cabin was clean, had a well-stocked kitchen, and was a perfect home base for exploring Asheville and the surrounding area. Everyone was very comfortable and all were very impressed with the property. Highly recommend!

Mountain Oasis

Close to every store that you might need to stock up. Beautiful location, and quiet. Cozy furniture and decor. Front deck was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy natural surroundings. House felt larger than the pics. All of the staples were provided (laundry detergent, dish soap, paper goods, cleaning supplies) as well as sheets and towels. Would definitely rent again and recommend to a large family or group.

Family reunion

Our whole family got together to celebrate my dads 85th birthday. The house was perfect! Very clean and well equipped. The town of weaverville was really nice and we were close to Asheville and the mountains.

I hate to recommend this because then others might choose to rent it when we want to use it again-- it's perfect. Homey, clean, well furnished and a short 5 minute walk to downtown Weaverville.

Great Cabin. Great location walking distance to town

Really great place. Only complaint - no blender - but I should have read that in listing. Don't blame them- bring your own. Loved location walking distancebto breakfast and restaurants and bars in Weaverville. Very nice cabin and deck.

Annual Family Vacation

Every year we look forward to our trip to the Asheville area. This house worked really well for us. Every had their own space and everything we needed was there. We grilled several evenings and used the wood provided for bonfires. Walking distance to downtown and easy access to roads and Asheville. A great time!

Awesome Vacation

My family and I met for a Christmas/New Year celebration. The location was perfect! Downtown Weaverville was charming, with great food, coffee shops and shopping. Access to the art district and downtown Asheville was easy - 15-20 minute drive. The home was quite charming and comfortable, with plenty of room for my husband and I, our two children and their spouses, and four grandchildren! We loved our stay. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

Comfortable home and peaceful location.

Great location and good sized for a couple families with kids. You will want to make sure to bring shampoo and conditioner. We assumed there would be some but we didn’t see any there.

The cabins were the perfect place for our group of khipu scholars to get to know each other and share ideas in a comfortable, relaxed, and beautiful environment. Not a single complaint. Roger was very easy to contact and attentative to our needs.

Asheville family vaca

House was as advertised. Very comfortable and well stocked for our visit. Lots of prompting of how things work. As a VRBO host I took some notes. It is walkable to the local town which has nice restaurants and small shops. Drivable within minutes to other shopping like grocery and Walmart. Very convenient to Asheville. What Google says it will take is what it takes. The hosts are very responsive. Even followed up to a lost item after the visit. I would recommend and stay again.

Family Christmas

What a wonderful time we had with our kids and grandkids celebrating Christmas!! It snowed, we ate, we laughed, we played games, and spent quality time together in the coziest of cabins. The pictures did not do the cabin justice! We were so pleased with the accommodations and location to Asheville as we went to Biltmore estate one day. Would definitely be interested in coming here again! ❤️❤️

The Buckeye!

We rented the Buckeye cabin for the overflow of our family at Christmas. Three couples stayed there along with two dogs. They were very happy and comfortable. The cabin was cleaned and stocked with all the necessities. Two bedrooms are on level one but the kitchen is located on the second floor so climbing stairs is a must. It has a private location and there was no problem checking in! The only thing they were missing was a Christmas Tree -which we had at our house-but it would have made it more festive.

great place but beware owner might forget your coming

We arrived at dinner time after a very long drive, and we were very tired. The owner forgot to leave the keys for us, so we went to her house and she wasn't home, the neighbor we found said she often forgets and people come looking. Luckily she was out to dinner and eventually came home and got our message to let us in. We were tired and hungary and sitting on the porch hoping she hadn't gone out of town. Her attitude was no big deal. It was a big deal to us, i thught i would have to get another place at the last minute. The house was very nice! And everything in working order. Don't look under the beds though. there were somebodies pills and other stuff.
