Vintage autentiskt timmerhus från 1945 inbäddat bland tre hektar stort skog. Med utsikt över Lake Michigan med 65 trä trappor till 80 "fasad privat sandstrand. Fyra sovrum året runt hemmet sover åtta. Två sovrum bottenvåningen, två sovrum på övervåningen. Sovrummet på bottenvåningen erbjuder king size-säng med privat badrum.

Gäst sovrum på bottenvåningen erbjuder queen size-säng med privat badrum. Övervåningen sovrum med två enkelsängar andra sovrummet erbjuder queen size-säng. Unik 12 fot öppen räcke bro förbinder två sovrum på övervåningen. Bron har utsikt över hela boytan nedanför. Stor öppen planlösning med vedeldad spis i vardagsrummet. Badkar med regndusch utanför vardagsrummet. Kökskök, Halv badrum med kök med dricksvattenbrunn. Naturliga trägolv i hela. Hela huset utsatt tallskog och cederpanel. Badrum med skiffer och kakelgolv.

Oavslutad öppen källare med andra öppen spis. Tvättmaskin och torktumlare tvättstuga i källaren.

Njut av den stora gräsmattan med gruppstolar. Bränder, stekande marshmallows, sjunger eldslåtar. Utomhus täckt veranda med sittplatser.
Gästerna kan njuta av parasoll, strandstolar, slutna förvaringsbodar. Andra eldstaden på stranden, kajaker, paddling.

Love this cabin!!!

We, all 8 of us, loved our stay here. Third year in a row for our siblings winter birthday get-together and we have had a fantastic time each year. Beautiful, comfortable cabin with fantastic sunset views.Love it, Love it, Love it! Feels like home now.

The epitome of beautiful lakeside cabins

Great location! Easy to get to, but also semi-private. Gorgeous 1930’s log cabin home that retains plenty of its original charm with many modern amenities and comforts! We just completed our third consecutive rental of this cabin for the third consecutive year. We are college roommates and friends that get together annually in midwinter. Barb is an excellent, easy to reach and accommodating host. So kind and so responsive if you have questions before, during or after your stay. We hope to continue re ting for years to come and we appreciate Barb and family making their beautiful home available to us! 5 stars for sure! Thank you!

Loved our visit

This is our second year coming back to this beautiful classic cabin. The whole ambience/environment is welcoming and cozy. The host, Barb, goes out of her way to take care of issues and questions. Love the view.

Perfect Beach Cabin

Everything about this place is awesome!!! Great yard with a fire pit and large private beach. The cabin is super clean, with nice comfy beds. The kitchen is well stocked. You won’t be disappointed staying here. It was absolutely perfect for our family!!

Cabin with a view!

The cabin was exactly as advertised. Right above the beach with a gorgeous view of lake Michigan. My wife and I started the week just the two of us and added a couple of kids and grandkids throughout the week. Family Getaway

We loved our stay! This property is so well appointed; they’ve thought of everything. Lots of dishes and stocked kitchen so we had fun preparing meals and eating together at the large dining room table overlooking the lake. Kayaks and paddle boards were a nice addition for impromptu voyage into the lake. Great for bonfires. Steps to upstairs are a little tricky to navigate for older family members and pets.

Great place! Everything you need!

This is our 4th time staying here. It is a wonderful location. There are only 70 steps to the beach. Very private. All you need is provided. When there was an issue it was dealt with promptly. We will be staying there again

Charming!

We loved the character of this historic cabin. It is clearly cared for with pride + TLC. The beautiful beach is the main attraction, but we spent lots of time admiring the details of the cabin inside + out…it’s very special! So happy to have found a dog-friendly spot along the shores of Lake Michigan. We definitely hope to be back!

Great house

We like this area, so looked for a house last minute this year. The house was better than the pics! Really neat/fun house…we really enjoyed our stay! The beach is huge and the highlight, with kayaks, umbrellas, tables, etc. Also a great view of the water from the house..and shaded backyard to hangout. Barb very responsive to help! Great family week!

Great beach at the log cabin

We loved the cabin -very clean-comfortable-well equipped- nice touches- and the beach was wide and gorgeous to the south for miles. Please let us know if you add AC and we will come back in the summer sometime. Thanks for sharing your log cabin !

Perfect

Another fantastic vacation at a true vintage gem! We loved the superbly stocked house, enjoyed the sipping-hummingbird porch, lazed on the private beach that had great chairs and fun boats to use! The owners of this place have thought of every detail- beach towels, good kitchen stuff, outdoor dog bowls, etc. We cannot wait to spend another week here next summer- it's just a magic place.

Beautiful

This house is gorgeous with spectacular views, tons to do for the kids and adults in the house and yard as well as on the beach and in the water. Stunning views of the lake and sunsets, even caught view of a rainbow as the thunderstorm came in to shore. Barb was very kind and quick with responses. The house is clean and well cared for with the normal oddities of an older house/cabin. Everyone in my family had an amazing stay!

A Special Place

This property is just as described in the listing. It was a perfect house and location for my husband and to spend time with his 3 siblings and spouses. The cabin was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well supplied. The Lake Michigan view was spectacular and we all took several walks on the beach. It was a treat to stay there.

Great family vacation

Michigan is our go to family vacation spot. Each year we are renting different home in different location and this one did not disappointed. Fantastic location with beautiful private beach. House is very charming, clean and has plenty of siting areas indoor and outdoor. Several special touches like hummingbird feeders with tons of little visitors, hammock overlooking the Lake Michigan, playhouse for kids, fire pit on the beach and on the backyard, kayaks and more. We love our stay 😍Everyone was happy didn’t want to go back home. Thank you!

Great escape!

The cabin is perfectly tucked away with privacy, but still with access not too far away for needed amenities. It is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
