Spotless with great pool

A great option for couples looking for a spot close to the beach. The house was spotless and had everything that we needed to be comfortable. I was dog-sitting for my daughter, so we were happy that it was pet-friendly. There is a great little fenced in area two doors down from the cottage for your fur babies to stretch their legs. I missed the 2nd payment and was grateful that they tried so hard to remind me and did not cancel my reservation. Great spot!

Get A Way

My husband and I just wanted to get away for a few days.This cottage is adorable and perfect for a nice relaxing get a way. The decor was so cute and cozy. You can tell the hosts take very good care of the property as everything was well maintained. The cottage was spotless. It had everything you could think of. The communication with the host was very timely. The pool was perfect. We will definitely visit again.

Quaint cottage by the beach

Very nice vacation spot for a couple. Short walk to the beach. Port A beaches aren’t the best but this rental also had a small pool which is nice for after dinner relaxation. The downside is that the pool area is completely visible to the rental property next door and above us. We visited off season so it wasn’t an issue.

We Love this Place

This cottage is perfect for two or three people. It's clean and well equipped. The pool is fantastic and very private. The location is in town and close to the beach and we can bring our two dogs.

Cottage in the Dunes

Great little place; just right for two people and a small dog. Anne is a wonderful hostess! The cottage has soooo many amenities I didn't expect. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, and everything you need to prepare meals. The pool was clean, the lounge chairs are comfortable, and there were even pool toys! My only quibble is that there is no place on the property for your pet to relieve themself. They do have another property up the street with a fenced lawn that is very nice, but I wish I had known this in advance. And yes, you can walk to the beach but it is quite a hike. However, it only takes two minutes by car and a parking permit is just $12 for the entire year so that was fine. If you are looking for something cozy and cute you will love this place.

Great cottage

The weather did not work out in our favor; however, the accommodations were great!The cottage is cute, plenty of room for a family of 4. The pool was perfect. There are a lot of stairs on the property, so if you have difficulty with mobility, this is not the place for you. The property manager is very communicative and welcoming. Highly recommend this property.

Nice Spot

Nice spot if your looking for a relaxing time in Port Aransas. Close proximity to the beach with everything you need only a few minutes away. Check-in process and communication was extremely easy. Great overall experience.

Great Stay for Baby Moon

This property was perfect for our baby moon. An easy walk to the beach, but still on a relatively quiet street. The private pool was a huge plus. We loved that our dogs were able to join! We’re definitely going to try to stay here again.

I was raised in Port Aransas and recently returned to the shore from the hill country. I have also taken over my mother's (BeeGee) Vacation Rental Property Management. BeeGee had lived in Port Aransas for 35 years, and was acquainted with the Dome and Cottage property and even visited the construction site when it was being built. In 2007, she purchased the property next door and started her quest to acquire the Dome and Cottage. With luck and hard work, she made that dream a reality this past year after having managed it for the former owner for 4 years. I could not be happier to take over the ownership and management of this lovely property. Anne
