Gillade: Incheckning och plats
The building looks run down, which I assume is due to hurricane damage affecting the common areas. The listing did mention that amenities were closed, but I didnât expect that beach access would also be affected. To get to the beach you actually have to walk around the building, and unfortunately, the host couldnât really help us figure this out.The unit itself has good space, though it feels outdated, and we did see two large cockroaches inside. The beds were comfortable, but I would recommend bringing your own sheets and pillowcases since the ones provided had a damp, musty smell (especially the pillows). The patio is cozy, but water constantly drips from the units above, making it uncomfortable to sit outside, which was disappointing since this was one of the reasons I chose this place.The fridge works well and thereâs a handy ice machine on another floor, but the microwave interior is old and peeling, so it sparked when we tried to use it.Overall, it was an okay stay, but definitely had several issues that could be improved.
