This unit is in a community of 45 mountain cabins with a hot tub located at the Solitude Lodge, a few minutes by foot, and shared by all guests of the neighborhood. It closes strictly at 9pm.
Check in is 4pm and later, and check out is 10am and earlier, with early check in available for a small fee but cannot be reserved until 24h before arrival and only then if the cleaning schedule allows for it.
The owners have a dog, so this property may not be suitable for guests with severe dog allergies.
This cabin has AC on the first floor only. The upstairs bedroom relies on ceiling fans and mountain breezes for cooling.

This beautifully maintained cabin combines classic mountain charm with modern comforts, including the rare luxury of first-floor air conditioning.
Situated just 5 minutes from downtown Estes Park and 10 minutes from the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, you`ll love how easy it is to explore everything the area offers. The cabin`s deck provides excellent wildlife viewing while the interior offers a cozy retreat after your mountain adventures.

Upstairs Bedroom: King bed with smart TV, ceiling fan, and walk-in closet. Features private en-suite bathroom.
Downstairs Bedroom: King bed with television, ceiling fan, and spacious walk-in closet. A pack `n play is stored here for families traveling with little ones.
Sleeping Area: Living room features a pullout sofa that converts to a queen bed for two additional guests.

Downstairs Bathroom: Recently remodeled with stunning double vanity and an impressive spa-like shower featuring beautiful soapstone tiling and convenient grab rails.

The Solitude HOA is a quiet neighborhood of vacation cabins near Lake Estes, just a few minutes from downtown Estes Park. This is a peaceful, family-friendly resort community. It encompasses 45 standalone cabins, a main lodge with 7 hotel-style rooms, and a meeting space/gathering area. The grounds cover 9 acres and back up to wild forest to the east, so wildlife frequent the neihgborhood. Lake Estes has a great walking path around it and is about a 5-10 minute walk from the property. Solitude is only a few minutes by car to downtown Estes Park.
You will need a car to really enjoy your time in Estes Park, though the town`s free summer shuttle does have a stop in the Solitude neighborhood. That shuttle runs from July to September and will take you to downtown, and from there you can take other shuttles around the Estes Valley.
NO SMOKING, NO FIRES
This home was a few miles away from one of the largest forest fires in Colorado history a few years ago. This is now a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits (now illegal in Estes Park`s vacation homes). Charcoal BBQs are banned. Gas is OK.
ROAD CONDITIONS
Estes has a great plow team and our parking area will also be plowed during storms, but if there`s a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area!
