Welcome to our home, where you can enjoy all downtown Raleigh has to offer while having a comfortable, serene home base. You can experience the breweries, restaurants, and cafes that are a 5-minute drive away, or watch the sunset from our screened-in porch. With 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and an open-concept kitchen & living room, there is plenty of room for your party to have their own space during their stay.
Our home has a modern feel with a spacious layout, cozy vibe, comfortable beds and couches, and a large fenced-in backyard. Comfortable sitting areas, cozy bedrooms, stocked kitchen, office desk setup, and outdoor space make this home a great landing pad for whatever brings you to Raleigh.
We want to let potential guests know that construction has started on the lot next to us on 8/28/2025. Please let us know if you have any questions about this.
THE KITCHEN
We are stocked with everything you need to cook a cozy home-cooked meal. This includes plenty of pots & pans, strainers, waffle maker, measuring cups & spoons, baking sheets, and many other accessories. There is also a comprehensive set of spices that you're welcome to use.
In addition to cookware, all your coffee and tea needs are covered, including a coffee maker, moka pot, goose-neck kettle, and coffee bean grinder.
THE LIVING AREAS
The open living room and kitchen has a 50-inch TV connected to a Roku for you to log in to all your streaming channels. You'll also find some board games and puzzles in the center console.
THE BEDROOMS
The home has four wonderful bedrooms, each equipped with a queen bed (one room has two twin sized beds) & comfortable mattress and bedding. Two of the rooms have ROKU televisions.
THE OFFICE
One of the bedrooms is also set up to be a home office. This room has an L-shaped desk, comfortable chair, and the ability to cast to a Roku TV screen for you to be productive.
In addition to the great set-up, the home is also set up on Fiber Internet so you shouldn't have to worry about a slow or poor connection.
If you have multiple workers staying in the home, the kitchen table or island is also a good place to work. On a nice day, we love working from the screened-in porch!
THE BATHROOMS
All three bathrooms have been recently remodeled:
- The primary bathroom is attached to the primary bedroom, and includes a spacious rain shower.
- The upstairs full bathroom is equipped with a bathtub.
- The half bathroom downstairs is convenient for the den and office.
When you arrive you should expect 1 toilet paper roll and 1 refilled hand soap dispenser in each of the bathrooms. Please keep these bottles in the home when you leave. Towels are provided.
THE SCREENED PORCH/YARD
One of the great parts about living in the south is taking advantage of the warm temperatures and spending time outdoors. The porch has plenty of privacy as it is within our backyard fence. It is well-lit for twilight gatherings, and usually has stellar sunset views. It opens up to our backyard which is perfect for enjoying the outdoors or letting your pet outside. We have three garden beds, which will be dormant (unless you are very ambitious and have a green thumb, in which case letâs talk!)
GRILL
We have a propane grill available for your use! While there may occasionally be leftover propane from previous guests, we kindly ask that guests provide their own propane if needed.
LAUNDRY
There is a washer and dryer located on-site for your use. We have left behind plenty of detergent for you to use. If you use your own, please ensure it is labeled high-efficiency to ensure the longevity of our washer/dryer.
PETS
We know bringing your pets with you is an important part of feeling at home, so we are delighted to host your pets. We ask that you clean up waste left in the yard, or other messes in the home. We have a large backyard for them to explore, and have left a medium-sized dog crate for your convenience.
Please note: Due to reasons outside our control (insurance) we cannot accept the following breeds: Akita, Chow, Pit Bull aka Staffordshire Terrier, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Sharpei, and Wolf Hybrids.
ACCESSIBILITY
Entry to the home requires a walk up a short flight of stairs, or a long walk through the backyard. Additionally, entry to the bedroom levels and bathrooms requires a short walk up some steps. This home may not be the best fit for guests where this will be challenging.
