Relaxing retreat

Amazing trip to AZ. We loved the pontoon boat! It was very relaxing. Carlene thought of everything you would need for a wonderful vacation. We appreciated the complimentary early check in and late checkout! Would definitely recommend staying here to all family and friends.

Perfect stay

Carlene's house was the perfect option for our group of two families with small kids. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need whether that was for cooking or just living. It was a lovely vacation retreat! The host and her property manager were always available for questions or suggestions in the area, and very accommodating. If you needed a break from the sun, the house had anything imaginable for our kids to play with, crafts to make, and games. Being across the street from the conservation park allowed for short hikes before the heat. Even walking around the neighborhood was enjoyable. We were able to fish off the dock and using the boat was an added plus for our rental. The pool area with the pool toys kept the kids occupied for hours. We loved it!

Just what we needed

We booked this house because we wanted to warm up, relax, and meet as family (half from Wyoming and half from New Mexico) for spring break. Upon arrival, we felt welcomed and very much at home. The host and property manager went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed (and wanted) and answered all of our questions. We appreciated all of the supplies and necessities to make us not feel as if we had to pack or buy every needed little thing to cook (baggies, foil, spices, etc.). We spent most of our days relaxing by the pool, taking the pontoon boat out for a ride, and playing pool. The place was a short drive from shopping, restaurants, and easy on and off access to the interstates. The neighborhood was quiet, friendly, and we felt very safe. We hope to return in the near future!

Spectacular Oasis!!

We had such a wonderful time at this home. Everything was as advertised, and the little details such as snacks before Easter and little notes around the house let us really feel like we were invited to the house of a close friend or family member. It was well stocked, unlike a lot of houses that have crappy cookware and other basic staples. This place felt like our own second home and we’ve definitely found our place in Phoenix.

Great house for superbowl!

This is an amazing house!! Went for superbowl weekend and our son’s 40th birthday day. Carlene went above and beyond to help celebrate his bday! The house was decorated with superbowl and birthday decorations, a large basket of snacks, toys for the kids and bottles of wine. The house is a perfect place to relax, enjoy the pool, jacuzzi and boat. Our grandkids enjoyed the all the pool toys and daily boat rides. We can’t wait to go back!!!

Best Family House!

The owner was in easy communication, the hosue was loaded with ammentities, the pool was heated and the pontoon fishing was so fun! We absolutely plan to stay here again.

FABULOUS HOME - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Three generations of family in Arizona to celebrate our son's 21st birthday. This home was perfect - from the well stocked kitchen (we cook), to the indoor and outdoor games (pool, table tennis, ladder ball, etc.) to the included pontoon boat for leisurely rides around the lake. Things were well labeled and thoughtfully located. Carlene (owner) and Janet (property manager) were personable and professional in all communications. They even had a very thoughtful birthday welcome display for our son - which we all were deeply impressed with. We have experience with multiple VRBO homes in multiple states - my husband and I agree that this one has been the best. Thanks Carlene & Janet!

Excellent stay

Property was perfect for stay close to Surprise, AZ for destination wedding. All the amenities were wonderful and we enjoyed the pool, pontoon ride in the morning and all the extras this property had to offer. Carlene provides great communication and goes above and beyond on all the extras!!! You can tell she really cares about her home and guests. In a great location, nice neighborhood and close to anything you may need. Thanks for everything Carlene.

Book this house NOW!

Our family had an amazing time! The house is beautiful yet welcoming. Carlene texted prior to and after arrival to make sure everything was as expected, the property manager stopped by to introduce herself and answer any questions we might have. This house has EVERYTHING you could need! I have stayed in MANY vacation rental homes but never as well stocked as this one nor a host who is so welcoming! Snacks were waiting and the mini fridge was stocked! Many games for our family game nights, lots of floaties for the pool and plenty of fishing equipment for the mornings on the lake! 1000% recommend! Thank you again for an amazing stay!

Wonderful stay

Our family had a wonderful stay at this house. The house was just as described. So many little touches, you can tell a lot of thought was put into making it as accomodating as possible. We spent most of our time poolside and on the putting green. The kids loved making cotton candy and snow cones. Carlene was great to work with. It was one of our daughters birthdays while we were there, and she went out of her way to decorate and set up a suprise for her and our other 2 kids when we arrived. It was such a nice gesture and a fun suprise to welcome us to the house. If we were back in the area, we would stay again for sure!

Truly a Memory for a Lifetime!

I cannot recommend this home enough. It's a truly beautiful home on the water. We celebrated a graduation and when we walked in the dining room table had a graduation table covering. There was a "hooray" banner hung up. There was a graduation message written on the chalkboard in the kitchen. It was so thoughtful! The pontoon boat was so fun to ride around the neighborhood in and my husband really enjoyed all of the fish he caught! The pool and hot tub was such a fun place to relax and enjoy time with the family. The beds were comfortable. The coffee bar was something we looked forward to every morning! There was not a detail that was missed. We don't have a real reason to go back to AZ now that our son has graduated but we will absolutely go back just to have the chance to stay here again!

Spring Break Trip

We had the most amazing trip to Phoenix. Carlene has does an amazing job with her place to make sure all the comforts of home are provided, plus more. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub, the boat, fishing, the indoor games, the cotton candy and snow cone maker, and all of the rest of the outdoor space. Carlene was always very responsive to any questions we had and made sure we were having a great stay. I can’t wait to return to enjoy this place again! Thank you again for sharing this wonderful place!

Couples get-away.

I cannot say enough good things about our hostess, Carlene. We have stayed at several properties, and her attention to detail is second to none. From making sure the pool was at the perfect temperature to snacks and beverages already in the house to get us started, this was the perfect place for all of us. The house had absolutely everything we needed. The back yard is gorgeous and had an incredible view. The pontoon was a nice touch as well. Would love to return.

Excellent views, property, and vacation with family.

There were 8 adults during our stay and we all had a wonderful time celebrating our parent's 50th wedding anniversary. They went above and beyond to prepare for us with decorations, snacks, etc. Everything was great!

The PERFECT House!!

This house does not disappoint!! When I say everything you could possibly need is provided, I mean EVERYTHING!! Every little need was thought of, provided & even labeled!! My husband appreciated the labels on the light switches, and the multiple reader glasses!! All of the games and activities that were available created many memories that my family will remember, ranging from an intense game of ping-ping, rounds and rounds of Connect Four (giant size) to painting rocks, snow cone making, fishing and spinning cotton candy, and can’t leave out our best attempt at Karaoke!!! Lots and lots of belly laughs occurred in this house!! We will definitely be returning!

Fantastic!!!! So many perks.

We picked the home for the pool and spa but got so much more. The pool and spa were each perfectly heated (included in price!) and so clean. The home provided us things we didn’t even know we wanted and we loved them. Pontoon boat, snow cones, cotton candy, bikes, fishing poles and gear, putting green, pool table, ping pong tabletop (goes on top of pool table or table outside), free Xbox games, gas fire pit, and movies. We stayed 5 nights and couldn’t take it all in. It was so much fun. Had the best supplies of any VRBO I’ve been in. Kitchen truly stocked. Soap pumps in bathrooms. Lots of swim towels. Free snacks and sodas. Throw blankets for couches. So many thoughtful touches. Carlene and Janet were a joy to communicate with. Note: Unlike some houses where you have to choose whether to heat the spa or pool from one heat source, the spa heats independently so it’s nice and hot while pool stays warm.
