Njut av detta underbara familjevänliga strandhus som ligger bara några steg från Jenness och kabelstränderna. I årets väl underhållna hem har den ursprungliga sten spis, stort öppet koncept kök, nya apparater och trägolv. Koppla av på den täckta främre bondens veranda - perfekt för att ta bort de varma sommardagarna och svala nätter. Ät middag ute på däck, eller mysiga med en bok på den slutna verandan där du kan lyssna på (och se, på vintern!) våldets brus. Master-sviten har ett badkar och (2) garderober och en balkong som vetter mot havet. Det andra sovrummet är rymligt och ljust och har (2) drottningssängar. Det finns ett öppet område / sovrum på tredje nivån som innehåller (4) enkelsängar. Det finns en utdragbar soffa i vardagsrummet och ett stort köksbord i matsalen. Detta hus är perfekt för en familjesemester eftersom det ligger hundra meter från en av de bästa stränderna på östkusten. Njut av en kort promenad till surfbutiken, ta en kopp kaffe på det lokala caféet eller ta en matbit på den berömda Carriage House-restaurangen. Detta hus har fullt utrustat kök som innehåller alla matlagningsutrustning, redskap, kaffebryggare, mikrovågsugn, WiFi, kabel (ny 55 ”platt skärm) och gott om parkering utanför gatan. Använd gärna strandstolarna för att hyra detta hem. Tyvärr inga husdjur. (3) natt minimum. Städavgift är $ 250 för (1) vecka eller mer vistelse.

Great House

I would recommend this house to anybody. We enjoyed the porch during the beautiful weather we had. Was great to be able to hear the waves while we sat outside in the morning and evenings before being gone exploring all day. Was perfect for what we needed!

Fantastic house for large group

We've stayed in this house twice with a few families visiting nearby family in Porstmouth. Even in the fall, it's great to have the beach so close so the kids can run around. Highly recommend

Great location

We used every bit of this house. There were 5 adults and a two year old and a 4 month old. We loved the front porch. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We replaced the batteries in one of the remotes and did purchase shot glasses to leave there. The freezer was hard to pull open but maybe it’s not used that often. We would definitely stay here again.

Third year coming to this home

Clean, well equipped, location is great. Lots of outdoor porches to enjoy the sunshine throughout the day. Only minor suggestion, might be time for a new grill, the one that is available has been well loved but works.

50th Wedding Anniversary

We celebrated my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. It was a total of 4 families with ages from 1-70. We had a great time. There was plenty of room and we ate all our meals in the house. Beach just a short walk away.

Did not get to stay here.

We rented this property for our Christmas vacation traveling from California many months in advance. About a month before our trip we got a call from the property manger stating there was some sort of problem with the heating system or something and it would not be complete by Christmas. We were then offered the use of the owners private vacation home in another town 40 minutes away. We agreed to stay there because at that point it was getting very close to our travel date. It was requested that we sign a 15 page rental agreement for our 5 day stay that was a little over the top. In the mean time we kept getting our arrival welcome emails from VRBO for the Rye House. The home was very nice but it was their personal home not a vacation home. It had their personal belongings in closets and drawers, family pictures on the walls and that and many other things felt very strange and very uncomfortable. The worst part was when we drove to visit friends near the Rye house, there were cars in the driveway. More than once. It appeared that someone else was staying there. I inquired about it and was told that was not the case but it did not look that way. Any way, VRBO keeps sending me review requests so this is our submission. I could not submit this review without doing the star rating so this is based on the property we actually stayed at. We appreciate the fact that we had someplace to stay, however, we are very disappointed we did not get to use the house we had chosen.

Charming Home So Close to the Ocean

Nice, large house with lots of charm and space. We ended up with a smaller party than we had planned for. We could have had many more family members. One day we had lots of them over for a lobster boil. There was plenty of space for cooking and eating. Plenty of pots and pans, dishes and utensils as well. We were also lucky to have lovely weather and fall colors all week. There were a few quirks that you can expect in an older home, but nothing worth noting. Communication with the owner and manager was easy and they responded quickly. I'd gladly stay in this house again.

Rye beach time

Comfortable house with plenty of room in a nice area. Easy, five minute walk to the beach. Great front porch with rocking chairs. We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch and playing cards on the porch in the evening.

Great place

Perfect location, great house, came as advertised. There was a problem with a leak in the ceiling when we arrived, but we worked with the property manager and the owner to get it fixed quickly. Would stay there again.

Rye Getaway

I would love to return to Rye and this property! This house accommodated our party of four adults and could fit much more comfortably. The kitchen is well equipped and there was plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the crisp end of summer air. The fire pit was a plus! My only complaint would be the difficult time getting answers on a need neat problem on the property. I had to call the property management company several times before speaking to anyone. We did not have children with us but if this were a family with children it could have been a different outcome. All in all it was a wonderful experience!

A wonderful week at the beach

This is a great place for a family to stay & enjoy the beach in Rye. It’s less than 1000 feet to the shore @ Jenness Beach. We comfortably fit 3 generations and appreciated the hospitality of - and easy communication with - our hosts, who also are thoughtful in how they prepare the property for guests: plenty of towels, beach chairs and toys, and a kitchen with plenty of tools. Thank you!
