Great location. Very clean!

Very clean and would stay there again. The clawfoot bathtub/shower is a little tricky. We enjoyed the location, and it was easy to get to everything. The deck was cozy and relaxing.

Amazing location and the property was incredibly clean! The back patio area is huge and spacious and a great place to hang out. Smooth check in process and very responsive owners. Will definitely book here again

Fall 2024

My adult daughter and I come to the Leland Suttons Bay area every fall. This was our first time staying here. We were very impressed with the clean and tidy home. We would definitely come again. It is especially convenient for shopping and dining in the village and a short trip over to Leland. We also enjoyed the outdoor garden space. We hope to stay longer next time!

The Bath Tub!

The property was wonderful regarding all things -clean-great kitchen -comfortable-etc. EXCEPT it is nearly impossible to take a shower and absolutely impossible for an 80 year old!

Beautiful Place in Suttons Bay!

Great place to stay in Suttons Bay. Perfect for our kids, ages 3 and 6 with easy access to the beach, playground, farmer's market, ice cream shop, restaurants, and bike path. We had a great time and hope to return next summer!

Great location!

Great location in a fun town! Super clean, everything you could need for a great weekend. Loved being able to walk everywhere. Comfortable beds and owners were very helpful 😊we will stay again!

Perfect location to walk town

This is a great value. The location cannot be beat for easy strolls for dinner and only one house north of ice cream! My kids love this house, we have returned now 2 years and look forward to more.

Sutton Bay is a perfect central location between the wineries, Traverse City, Fish Town, Sleeping Bear Dunes etc…it’s quiet, peaceful & scenic!

Excellent location and happy with amenities

Enjoyed being close to the bike trail, the shops, the water, and more! Also took advantage of the washer/dryer, coffee maker, all the kitchen gear, and kids toys/playpen/etc.

Perfect for What We Needed!

Fantastic little cottage right in Sutton’s Bay! The home was immaculately clean, with everything we needed for our stay. Fluffy beach towels were a nice surprise! Our family of 6, with 3 teens and a tween, had no issues. Only one bunk bed, but knew that from reading reviews so planned accordingly. It was very quiet, even with busy businesses on either side. Enjoyed eating our ice cream on the deck listening to the music. Definitely would stay again!

Nice little place downtown

Nice little place downtown. Back deck is awesome. Only knock is it's attached to other units and that wasn't very clear when booking initially (at least that I can remember). Also, some loud clanking noise around 8 or 9 each night. Not sure if it was neighbors or plumbing but almost was a big issue with our 8 month old trying to sleep. All in all though, very satisfied.

Review

When we got there the property seemed clean, perfect location and great. However through our stay we found two live cockroaches, an extremely dirty pillow we slept on and the owners did not do anything about the cockroaches. The tub is very hard to get in and out of. The description says two bunkbeds but there is only one bunkbed. We were extremely disgusted with the cockroaches and could not wait to leave unfortunately.

Best Northern Michigan Vacation Ever!

This was one of the best vacations I ever had (despite the rain/snow we encountered) It just didn't matter!!! The apartment was cozy and welcoming. On our arrival we found a bottle of wine and chocolate truffles waiting with two cards, one to wish us a happy anniversary and another wishing me a happy birthday. So unexpected and very touching. We did not get to meet Cathy, but I did get to talk to her and she was so nice to talk to and so helpful. "If you need anything don't hesitate to call me!" were her welcoming words. Communications with the owners of this apartment were so warm and friendly. The gourmet kitchen in this apartment made cooking on vacation a real pleasure. The deep, claw foot tub was wonderful to take relaxing bubble baths. It actually had feet on the tub that looked like lion claws! What a hoot! The beds were comfortable and just sitting and relaxing in the lovely decorated living area was a treat. Next door is Martha's Leelanau Table Restaurant. It is in a lovely old house and has a French Bistro atmosphere and the food was DELICIOUS. Oh, and you can see the kitchen and the hustling and bustling that goes on in Martha's kitchen from the sliding glass doors in the kitchen of the apartment. Kind of fun to watch! Sutton's Bay is just lovely, and you can walk right down town from the apartment and visit (and shop in, of course) the lovely shops. Across the street is the public beach and a marina that affords lovely views and a great place to take walks. The bike path that runs from Traverse City and ends not far up the road from this apartment is a great bike/walking trail. Oh, and Traverse City is a 15-25 minute drive from Suttons Bay and along M22 I could not believe how many wineries you can find which are situated in areas with stunning views of the countryside and bay. Yep....just cannot say enough nice things about our stay at this apartment and Sutton's Bay, MI I know that we will definitely want to stay here again! Suttons Bay Stay

Check in was easy, property clean, for 2 people very roomy, kitchen good but no blinds on door wall.. great location for Leelanau Peninsula outings and downtown Suttons Bay. T.C. 20 miles down M22..we enjoyed our stay
