Stor nedre enhet i en charmig två enheter hem bredvid Ludington Municipal Marina och gångavstånd till strand, hamn, centrum och båt lansering. Perfekt för fiskaren i gruppen. Detta är en 2/2 med vardagsrum och matsal med plats för 6. Det finns en separat våning på andra våningen som anges som The Dock House-Upper (lista 4813469). Denna stuga har ett stort däck på baksidan och en stor veranda för att sitta ute och se Badger komma till hamnen. Stugan är fullt möblerad med en tvättmaskin och torktumlare, frys i källaren, kabel-TV, WIFI och ett komplett kök med allt du behöver för matlagning. Om du inte vill laga mat, är du gångavstånd till centrum med några av de finaste restaurangerna och barerna. Ta en promenad längs sjön Pere Marquette eller ut till fyren på Stearns Beach. Så mycket att göra och se bara kvarter bort.

Great place

This was our 3rd year staying here. We enjoy every minute of the place. Easy walk to the beach, watching the Badger come in and out and close to many attractions.

Great location to walk to beach

We loved the location, but, the house itself needs a few things "fixed". Kitchen bathroon hot water faucet doesnt work. Living room bathroom faucets too short for sink that is there, hard to wash hands. Front steps and handrailings need repair. Stove's bottom panel hanging off. We loved the location, but the house needs some TLC.

Great location, historical home

Wonderfully sandwiched between the beach, marina, and downtown, we could walk anywhere we wanted to go. Cute historical home with the charms and quirks of an older property. We loved it! Good value, easy check in and out. We didn't really need to communicate with the owners bc we had what we needed. My only observation is that the master bed is a double, not a queen, if that makes a difference. We saw it listed as both in different listings. Ludington is beautiful and we felt welcome and at home in the Dock House.

Girls trip

I had been hearing about Ludington from two different friends who had been visiting Ludington for 60+ years. Ludington didn’t disappoint! Charming people and town. The Dock House was a perfect location, clean, neat and the owner was very responsive when needed. Everything the description indicated!

Exploring Ludington

We enjoyed our stay. The home is very interesting with some vintage decor. It is in a beautiful setting a few blocks to the beach & the marina. My husband liked watching the Badger come in from WI. I loved walking the neighborhood. All of the crab trees were in bloom-so pretty! Hope to be back.

Great Location

This property is ideally located within the city. It was an easy walk to downtown, the city marina, and the city beach and park. The lower part of Dock House is definitely themed for the lake and contained everything we needed. It was just two of us, and although it contained beds for 5, we think it would seem small unless kids made up some of that number. We cooked for most of our meals and there were pots, pans, utensils, and dishes for everything we made. We hope to be back!

Perfect!

Our family of 5 stayed at The Dock House for 3 nights while in town for a wedding. Had everything we needed for our stay. Loved walking the dog by the marina or along the shore where we could see the lighthouse. Walking distance to great food and shops as well. This house has old charm, but still provides the needed conveniences. Would stay again for sure. Great communication- from my inquiry prior to booking our stay, through our departure. Had a little hiccup with access upon arrival and Brian was on top of it right away. Thanks for a great experience! Hope to see you again in the future.

The Dock House is a charming, roomy, well-appointed house with a lovely front porch located close to all the fun things to do in Ludington. We very much appreciated that they are dog-friendly.

Family Wedding

The home is older but it is a clean and well kept property in an ideal location. The owner is very responsive should you need anything during your stay. We were in town for a family wedding and this home worked out well for us.

Dock House

Very clean and great location. Familiar with property and noted that is becoming a bit dated. Also there was no cooking basics such as salt/pepper oil etc for preparing meals. Ate out little more than usual for our stays at vaca rentals. Always fun to visit Ludington and the location cannot be any better

They are avid outdoors people that enjoy the big lake fishing, golf, off-roading and hiking. Brian has recently retired and they both started Ludington Cottage Rentals in 2018.
