Quaint and quirky cabin with a great deal of history. Large and fully equipped kitchen, very spacious dining and living area. Extra large outdoor deck and terrace which allowed for wonderful relaxation, Super location for in-town access or numerous hiking trails.

Roxanne’s place was amazing. She proactively let us know about a problem with the place we rented, and she moved us to another, nicer cabin before we even got there. The cabin was secluded and peaceful, and made for a great long weekend.

This Mountain Cottage was Amazing. So Unique and Eclectic. The Cottage is built and furnished with Awesome reclaimed materials. The views are are beautiful with Mountain tops and trees everywhere. We even had a Moose walk right past Us as We sat and had coffee on the deck. It is far enough out of the city to feel secluded, but close enough to get to Boulder in 30 minutes or so. The cottage is only minutes from the cute little mountain town of Nederland with Restaurants Shops and hiking trails close by. Would definitely stay here again.

By far the best VRBO/mountain cabin stay we’ve ever had! The cabin had so much charm and character, was only 7 mins from downtown, and we saw the best wildlife! The kitchen had everything we needed and stargazing from the deck at night was such a highlight. Roxanne was always quick to respond and so very kind. I truly cannot wait to come back!!!

The Magical Mountain House is a beautiful and incredibly comfortable home. Its unique history, thoughtful décor, and beautiful furnishings make it a truly special place to stay. The home was impeccably clean and exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed.We especially enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the late afternoons, unwinding between our morning hikes and evening activities. The location is wonderful, with the charming town of Nederland just a short drive away. Although small, Nederland is quaint and friendly, with a great selection of restaurants, breweries, and shops.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return to the Magical Mountain House!

Nice rustic cabin, fits in with the surroundings. Awesome hummingbird feeder that has a constant 10 birds on it. There are a couple of tripping hazards in the house (unexpected steps) to be mindful of. The single bath is not very private if there is more than one couple staying.

Sorry to hear navigating our 100 year old remodeled cabin was problematic during your stay. The bathroom was added on to the original structure 55 years ago, 30 years before we bought the house. Unfortunately when retrofitting old structures like ours, there are always inherent limitations that dictate architectural decision, like stepping up twice to enter the bathroom. These type of decisions are made out of necessity, not out of choice. Regarding privacy in the bathroom, if you had let me know you were uncomfortable with the situation, I would’ve happily come over and hung a curtain at the door. In the 14 years I have been renting our home, this has never been an issue.

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was the perfect getaway for us. We had snow most of the time we were there and the views with the snow all over felt like a hallmark movie. Just a short drive to Nederland with good food and a little bit of everything if you were lacking anything. And still only 1hr to Estes Park and RMNP.

This place is as advertised. Lovely place not too far from Nederland. Clean and spacious for a getaway. I appreciated that the road was plowed for the random snowstorm in May. Would recommend as a place to stay in the future. Roxanne was great at communicating everything that would be helpful for the stay.
