Great place and appreciated the one night stay duration for our stop on a trip. Most places of this size do not accommodate a one night stay. This was perfect for our two family trip!

We had an amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed while still feeling quiet and relaxing. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in and check-out effortless. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

The house and cottage worked great for our guys golf and bourbon trip. We had 12 guys and everyone had their own bed and plenty of bathrooms to accommodate us. The house was clean and met our expectations. We did have a couple of issues during our week stay, but the host was fast to respond and took care of the issues in a reasonable time frame.

We rented Grace's property to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday on the bourbon trail. We were a group of 12 30s 40s professionals, all visiting the trail for the first time. The Gathering at Old Frankfort was absolutely ideal for our needs. The space was immaculately maintained and offered a great blend of refined accommodations sprinkled with some fun; Grace has clearly given the furnishings and extra touches careful thought and consideration. The location was perfect-- close to the distilleries we planned to visit while also offering some rolling hillside serenity. Overall, our trip was exceptional and we wouldn't think twice about staying here again in the future!

Thank you so much for this thoughtful and generous review. We are honored that you chose The Gathering at Old Frankfort to celebrate such a special milestone, and we are delighted to hear that the property was a great fit for your group. It is especially meaningful to know that first-time Bourbon Trail guests found our property both comfortable and well located. Hosting groups exactly like yours—friends coming together to celebrate, explore Kentucky bourbon country, and make lasting memories—is what we hope our home is being used for. Thank you again for staying with us. We would love to welcome you back anytime your travels bring you back to the Bourbon Trail!

We had a family friendly NYE break at this amazing home. It was a perfect space to get decompress from the holiday season. It was great to have the separate spaces, so everyone always felt comfortable. The beds and linens were cozy and well decorated. I loved the small extra touches like games, night lights and labeled kitchen drawers. I know when staying at rental homes it is necessary to bring my own dry goods (paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, plastic utensils, etc.,) it was nice to have some of those coffee supplies and laundry detergent available when it isn't always expected. The only thing I felt like it was light on was bath towels. There were bath towels and towels for the hot tub available which I appreciate. The bath towels, hand and floor towels barely covered our needs. I could have easily packed extra but didn't see anything in the notes that only the minimal would be supplied. This however, in no way is a deterrent from recommending or returning to this Kentucky retreat! It's a must visit!

We had a large group here for a large work event in town. The space was clean and had everything we needed to be able to focus on work. Thank you for providing a safe clean place for our work group to stay.
