Welcome to The Woodford House! This charming, historic home is located directly on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail! With 8 local distilleries (the closest one only 4 minutes away), 2 local wineries, and the picturesque Lawrenceburg main street within walking distance, you will have plenty to fill your itinerary! This home offers four spacious bedrooms, three full baths, a well-appointed kitchen, and a speakeasy-style Bourbon Room. Sit back, lift your spirits, and welcome to the Woodford House!

Make your Bourbon Trail excursion all the more special by staying in one of the original homes in the county! 4 minutes to Wild Turkey. 9 minutes to Four Roses & 20 minutes to Woodford Reserve. Free wifi. Full home amenities for a party of 8. Kid-friendly with two twin beds (the bunks have been taken apart to make it more little kid-friendly), playspace, high-chair, child-friendly dishes, and plenty of room to run around in the yard.

The kitchen was stocked with cooking necessities and fully stocked kpods which were a very nice surprise to make life easier in the morning. The house is beautiful with historic charm but modern conveniences. Our favorite room was the Bourbon room. We had a great family get together in a beautiful place.

Great Stay

What a great house for couples visiting the Bourbon trail! Wonderful host and accommodations! Would definitely recommend staying here-only a few minutes from several great distilleries and walking distance to several shops, a coffee shop and a restaurant.

Nice bourbon trail location

Nicely renovated older home with lots of character and charm with plenty of room to easily accommodated 6 friends on a bourbon trail excursion. Location was centrally located for the distilleries on our tour list. We particularly enjoyed the Woodford room to hang out as a group!

We loved the home, it was super clean and well maintained. We thought at first that we to far out, but it turned out to be perfect. Emily was right there if I had question. I would definitely recommend this house. I am coming back!

We will be back!

Loved the Woodford House. Centrally located to much of the Bourbon Trail, this location made it easy to get to most of our desired distilleries easily. The house was comfortable, clean and has all of the things we needed. We are already planning our next trip and hope this place will be available.

Excellent two-story historical home completely modernized, and convenient to area Bourbon distillaries. Spacious, updated kitchen, a proper dining room, and cozy Bourbon room to relax and savor the day's collection. Four bedrooms, one with an ensuite.

Duke Family Vacation

We had an amazing time discovering KY! The Woodford House did not disappoint! It is centrally located between a bunch of different attractions. We toured distilleries, Louisville Slugger Museum, Ark Encounter, Churchill Downs and the KY Horse Park. All places were within an hours drive. This house was perfect! When we come back, we definitely will be staying here in Lawrenceburg!

Fabulous Property

We were pleasantly surprised by how accurate the home was to the Vrbo listing. The house was every bit beautiful and accommodating as advertised. My friends and I were able to enjoy all aspects of this home and felt we received excellent value for our dollar. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer to enjoy the home more than we did on this stay. Spending most of your day on the Bourbon Trail leaves little time to enjoy the home. If we're ever back in Kentucky, we will definitely stay here again.

Beautifully restored home near downtown Lawrenceburg

This home has been beautifully restored and features fun spaces and unique decorations. The home has a wonderful kitchen, a large dining room with chairs for 8 people, a large TV watching room and a charming bourbon room with great sipping chairs. There are four bedrooms and two baths upstairs and a full hall bath downstairs. The home has a wonderful front porch and a nice patio in back. We had plenty of room to park three cars. The home is on a busy road, bring a sound machine if you are a light sleeper. We walked a comfortable 5 minutes to downtown for dinner and we rode electric bikes 5 miles to the Four Roses distillery.

Loved the charm of this 1890’s house. It was perfect for our needs while attending a wedding at the Ripy House. Very close to everything we needed! Craft pizza, wedding venue, and Hype Nutrition all within minutes! We really enjoyed the bourbon room to lounge in and visit with family while in town! And the coffee bar was very well stocked! Highly recommend!

Family get together

Wonderful home. Great for large groups. Located near bourbon trail. The only con is near police station and railroad so can be loud at night. If you use earplugs no issue.

Graduation and Bourbon trail

Great place to stay and host a gathering. Plenty of space, multiple seating areas, wonderful decor. Walking distance to Downtown Lawrenceburg. Short drive to several distilleries and 30 mins to Lexington!

Hello from the Adams Family! It didn't take long for our family to fall in love with Kentucky! And it took even less time for us to fall in love with this old house. Since we are a military family, we can't quite settle down yet. So until we do, we decided to open the doors of the Woodford House so you and your families can grab a seat on the porch, pour a drink, gather around the table, and just relax.

Our little slice of Bluegrass history had some rough times over the years but was recently fully renovated. We are thrilled the house is back where it belongs, entertaining families and showcasing all the historic charm Anderson County has to offer.

We were able to convert a rather unused front sitting room into a speak-easy style Bourbon Room! Dark walls, cozy chairs, gold accents, and local barrel art makes the room just the sort of place you want to sit and sip. Despite its age, the house is very spacious and historic, unique details have been kept where able. The house is also centrally located on Kentucky's Bourbon Trail with 7 distilleries within 25 minutes and within walking distance of Lawrenceburg's Main Street shops and eateries!
