Overall, nice accommodations. Blinds for door walls were broken (were being replaced soon according to management) which led to lack of privacy. A little noisy (in flightpath of airport) All in all though, a great place to stay .

Not for families with children

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The outdoor space of this unit is limited by the non-functional, wicker blinds on all sliding doors. To walk out to the table on the lower level, you have to manually hold up the blind while walking through the door or go through the front door and walk around to the table. The blinds also obstruct the view/natural light as most of them can't even be raised. We had little/very spotty internet during our stay. Finally, this is a retirement community. Most of the residents were very friendly, but the residents in the unit directly next door were not. Within 20 minutes of our arrival, we had several knocks on the door and rings of the doorbell to rudely inform us that we were being too loud. We do have 2 daughters ( 8 and 9 years old) that were excited to arrive after 12 hours of traveling so we were not silent, but not screaming or yelling. The next day, another couple at the pool were asked (nicely) to turn their music down by another long term resident. I could barely hear it from where we were sitting. That evening the resident of the unit next door informed us that the pools hours strictly end at 8:00 pm despite all signs/rules stating the hours are dawn til dusk. We were on eggshells the rest of the week that we would continue to be harassed. This is not a place that I would recommend for children.

Beautiful Condo & Peaceful

The condo was very spacious - admittedly much larger than 2 people need, with 2 bedrooms/2.5 baths, but we like our space. The kitchen has been remodeled and was very well appointed, and there were plenty of linens & pool towels. A new small washer/dryer in the kitchen closet is very convenient. The bathrooms can use updating, but I would not downgrade the property because of that. Bed was comfortable and there is a TV in the LR and in each bedroom. Our unit was right next to the pool, which was clean and the perfect temperature. Key Colony is almost across the main road, so we walked there every day and stopped at Leigh Ann's for a fabulous breakfast. Also recommend the Stuffed Pig for breakfast, Lazydays for dinner and Oysters Moscow, Florida Steak & Lobster for sushi, Sparky's for lunch and happy hour. Also near the Dolphin Research Center, which we always visit - the staff there is amazing! Would definitely return to this property and would recommend it to friends and family.

This is our fourth year at Gulfpointe One and we love it here. The condo is always clean and well equipped with all the necessities that we need to make our stay comfortable. The property manager Paulette is always very friendly and available if you have any questions. The atmosphere around the condo complex is very tropical and quiet so it is an awesome place to sit back relax to the soothing sounds of the tropical breezes and ocean waves.
