Ett sovrum, 800 kvm garage som har totalrenoverats. Renoveringsarbetet slutfördes januari 2018. Den har alla nya apparater, inklusive tvÀttmaskin / torktumlare. Det har ett nytt kök och nya fönster och fönsterhöljen runt.
Det ligger pÄ en kulle med utsikt över hela maten, ovanför North Lamar. Bara gÄ nÄgra kvarter till ett par femstjÀrniga restauranger (Jeffereys och Clarks) och mÄnga affÀrer och klubbar i vÀstra 5: e och 6: e gatan. Sweetish Hill Bageri ligger 5 minuters promenad bort, bara nerför backen.
Bildfönstret i vardagsrummet ser ut över stadens silhuett med fri utsikt.
Det ligger pÄ en blindgate, utan genomfartstrafik, med bekvÀm parkering pÄ gatan.

Great location, great hosts

Mark and Jeanie are great hosts, communication was great. The property worked out great for us, within walking distance to everything that we wanted. The place is very comfortable, well outfitted, well maintaned and clean.

Wonderful stay in Austin

Mark and Jeanne were fabulous hosts. Extremely friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The location was perfect for everything and the bed was very comfortable. This cottage really felt like a home away from home and I would highly recommend it to everyone!

Womderful

Great location and a great apartment with excellent kitchen, bath room and bedroom. Spacious living/dining area with fantastic views of the Austin skyline. The hosts are wonderfully attentive and gracious.

Nice stay

This cottage is tucked away in a nice neighborhood located close to downtown Austin. The living space is very comfortable with a full kitchen. There’s a Whole Foods and several restaurant options within a short walking distance. Both Mark and Jeannie were incredible hosts and I’d l definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Stylish & Cozy Stay in Austin

Great apartment in a lovely neighborhood. Lots to do, easy walk to downtown and amenities. Mark and Jeannie owners are very kind, thoughtful hosts. The beds are comfortable and there is a larger bathroom. Spacious kitchen and nice windows throughout. There is a cute sitting deck overlooking downtown. Really enjoyed the cozy comfort along with the stylish touches. Thank you for sharing your home.

Wonderful home base to explore Austin

We were very impressed when we checked in. The apartment is so bright and airy, even better than the photos show. Great location - quiet neighborhood, walking distance to many attractions. We were able to walk a few blocks to pick up a MetroBike and use the bike paths to get to many locations. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to Mark and Jeannie for making our stay so pleasant, such wonderful hosts!

Great place! Great location!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Great location for easy walking to restaurants, grocery stores, shops, even a record store! The house is immaculate; it’s well supplied with towels, soap products, dishes, pots & pans, and even spices for the Thanksgiving dinner I cooked there; it is decorated nicely and has excellent appliances; and the view of the city skyline from the balcony is outstanding! I highly recommend this rental!

Perfect place in the perfect location!

If we could give 10 stars we would. The host and hostess were very gracious and the cottage was beyond our expectations on all counts. The view of the city was exceptional. (I’m a bit sad I can’t live here permanently!) Thanks Mark and Jeannie!

Great place, great location!

The cottage is really nice. All the furnishings are higher end with lots of space. Great bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and main room. Whole Foods is a close walk so you can cook in the great kitchen. Lots of great restaurants are within short walks as well. As a runner, I appreciated the close proximity to the creek trail down to the lake trail. The hosts were super nice too. I would move in to the place if they’d let me!

Mark is a retired Navy Officer (Civil Engineer Corps) who then followed a 2nd career in Engineering and Construction Management. He is a Naval Academy graduate with advanced degrees in Engineering from MIT. Jeannie is an active volunteer for feeding the homeless in a local church. She plays Mah Jong weekly. Mark and Jeannie both grew up in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area of southeast Texas. They are high school sweethearts who dated for 7 years and now have been married for almost 53 years.

It is new and fresh with beautiful views. It is quiet and peaceful.

Very little traffic or noise. There is an alleyway off the back of the property that will lead you down to Lamar Street and one additional block over to Whole Foods, or the beginning of shops and clubs along West 5th and 6th Streets
