Annual Guys Trip to South Florida

Gino/Kevin’s house in Deerfield Beach has lots of room for 5 guys for a 10 day stay, pool was amazing (Kevin had the temperature set perfect). Check-in was a breeze and Kevin only a phone call away if needed (and he wasn’t). Have rented before from Gino/Kevin and will definitely use them again without hesitation.

This place was perfect for four golfers. Lots of great courses nearby. After playing all day a great place to come back to and grill up some food and enjoy some drinks out back

Location, Location, location

This house is in a perfect location. Close to shopping, Near the expressway. Close to the Beach, nice neighborhood. The beds are comfortable, the screened porch is nice. The downside is that most of the interior furniture appears to have come from thrift stores. The pool area has so much foliage growing close to the pool that the shedding from the plants is a nuisance. the house trim adjacent to the pool area needs painted making the area look shabby. I would stay there again because of the location. But for the price relatively small updates are needed.

Graduation party

It was a great visit we came to Florida to watch our daughter graduate from college. This was a perfect location and a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice vacation home

Bedrooms were nice. The one bedroom with three single beds worked well for bedding kids. Children really enjoyed the pool We also enjoyed the outdoor screened in porch with ping pong table and outdoor table perfect for enjoying morning coffee.

Very nice vacation house

Very nice place with plenty of room in the house and a private pool. One mile walk to the beach, or ride the bikes provided.

Deerfield Beach

We really enjoyed our visit to Deerfield Beach. We enjoyed the heated pool and pool table every evening. The kitchen had appropriate cooking supplies and outdoor grill was nice. Check in and check out was easy and communication with the manager was always good.

Deerfield Beach getaway

Although all the amenities weren't totally updated everything was certainly serviceable, provided lots of fun, there was a pool table, a heated pool and worked out just fine for our group Any issues we had we brought to the attention of Kevin the owner/manager and he was always cheerful and available. Our stay certainly rates a 9.

Great house

The house was great, close to the beach and lots of local attractions. It was clean upon arrival and we had no issues during our stay. The house had everything you could need. My kids enjoyed the pool and ping pong table the most. Would def stay here again in the future :)

Deerfield Beach

This property is conveniently located walking distance from the beach. Owners provide beach chairs, umbrellas, bicycles, coolers and sand toys. The house has plenty of space and is equiped with an awesome grill, outside seating, and a heated pool. Property is located near Boca Raton which houses beautiful restairants and boutiques. I would just advise thenowner to fix the tiles around the pool;they are loose. We would stay again.

Surfers Paradise

We had an excellent time at Kevin’s home. Close to all amenities, restaurants ( must go to Charm City Burger and The Cove) Easy walk to the beach and Deerfield Island. Kevin and his team were very responsive to any matters we had. Pool was great and private and home was large enough for everyone. Definitely would recommend. Mark

SIMPLY THE BEST!

Me, my husband, my sister and all of our adult kids (a group of 9) stayed at this amazing house for 4 days. The host is by far the best I’ve ever dealt with. While communication was perfect, I never needed him because he thought of EVERYTHING. From bikes to blow dryers, a million towels to everything you could possibly think of for a kitchen, to the most comfortable mattresses and quality bedding, to gas for the grill and shampoo, there was nothing this host didn’t think of. The house was spotless, the pool was awesome and there was privacy galore. Plenty of room, beds and bathrooms for 9 adults. I could not think of a single thing that would have made this rental better. Do not hesitate if you need a place in the south Florida area because this house is also centrally located. Loved it!

Listing is deceiving

Cobwebs and several caterpillars in master bedroom. Several things were broken. Was supposed to meet at house which never happened and then was told he would leave 2nd set of keys in mailbox which never happened either. Lots of ele trical outlets did not work. Was disappointed but was not at house that much

Horrible Experience

The property was highly dingy and dirty with rotten baseboards and drywall around the shower. There was mold on the shower door. The kitchen counter tops were not secure and would slide when leaned on. The pool tiles along the edge of the pool were all loose, and if you grabbed onto the edge, the tiles would flip up, Etc Etc Etc

Showing some Wear and Tear

Overall we had a great time, just a few things that stuck out: Location: great but the neighborhood is a little iffy, House is right next to a library and the light from the library shines in the master bedroom (whose blings are broken all night) house is also right off of a major road so lots of car sounds Pool/Patio : pool itself was fine, the furniture is showing signs of age, one chair was almost busted through and cushions are worn and faded Patio area was nice but one of the pool pockets was broke and would not stay in. Cushion at table are worn and need to be replaced Kitchen: dishwasher door is broke and falls open and the hood above the range does not work. Ice maker is also really slow. There are almost no regular glasses, had to buy plastic to supplement Bedrooms: master bedroom mattress squeaks horribly, I woke up everything my husband moved. Blinds in this bedroom on both windows and slider are broke, people on patio could actually see into our bedroom. Other bedrooms were okay per kids and family members There were 4 beach chairs and an umbrella to use, just a couple of buckets as far as beach toys that we could find. There is also a small cooler which was helpful. We enjoyed our stay but would probably look elsewhere next time.

Nice, clean, spacious home in a great location and not far from beach.

Found the house to be clean upon arrival. The rooms were spacious. Plenty of towels and really liked that beach chairs and umbrellas were made available. The pool was well kept. There are some loose tiles on the edge of the pool that need to be secured but it wasnt a problem for us. The pool/ping pong table was nice but the humidity has ended up warping the table unfortunately. Didnt prevent us from enjoying a few games on it. The beds were comfy, however the pillows could use replacing as they were kind of flat. Also there was only one King bed, not like it was advertised on the listing. We had problems with the grill at first. I messsged the owner a few times about it and i could sense his frustration. We replaced the propane tank but still no luck. The owner sent over Kevin to "show us" how to use the grill since no one had ever had issues with it before but ultimately there was a problem with the grill. The hose needed to be replaced. After fixing Kevin tested it with us present and found that only 3 of the 4 burners worked. Wasnt the end of world but it definitely affects the overall temp of the grill and grilling took longer than it should. We're grillers so this was a bit of a downer for us. We used the George Foreman grill in the house as a backup. The house is in a good area, conveniently located between Boca and Pompano. The beach is just minutes away and a straight drive. Overall, we all had a great time and would consider renting again. Thank you Gino!

Great amenities, but need higher standards for cleanliness

The amenities for this house are fantastic and match the listing. The pool is in great shape with crystal clean water and plenty of pool toys for the kids, as well as plenty of seating for adults with the four sunning lounge chairs on the pool decks and ample seating in the screened room. We played PingPong quite a bit. The boards are swelling due to the outdoor moisture, but we were still able to make it work. The outdoor amenities and cleanliness were fine. The indoor standards were low for this price point. Since I rent my own home on VRBO I know how a place should look for arriving guests. In terms of cleanliness this place disappointed. Crumbs in the corner of the kitchen counter, dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived, no spare paper towel rolls/toilet paper, no dish soap/laundry soap (though the prop mgr did get some over to me immediately when I asked). There were no coffee pods/grounds/beans for the three coffee makers. No were no spices (other than salt and pepper) or cooking oil. The stove-top and refrigerator were very clean. My kids and I immediately went to the store and bought cleaning supplies. We spent the first two hours at the house cleaning and wiping down all surfaces with disinfectant. The master bath is not up to par. The shower window is disgusting with construction materials splattered all over it. The shower drips incessantly and the handle was darkened by repeated use and moisture. The cover plate for the shower handle is not flush with the tile so water is getting behind, inviting major moisture problems. Lack of a fan in that room exacerbates the moisture issues. The baseboards are painted white but chipped and darkened by what might be mold. The caulking is horribly applied everywhere. The hand towel was clean and obviously laundered, but there were three small towels neatly folded on the counter that didn’t appear or smell like they had been washed. The Terra Cotta floors hide dirt. Barefoot, our feet were sticking to the floor in places. The tile and grout need to be aggressively cleaned. Overall, I wanted to love this place, but it was just not ready for us. I think it needs a good 8 hours of thorough cleaning and some routine maintenance.

Awesome family home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. This spacious house was perfect for us and our two small children (1 toddler, 1 infant) . We enjoyed all the amenities especially the pool, patio with grill and kitchen. The managers were super responsive to any issues we had and fixed issues with heater and garage door asap. They even sent over space heaters when it was colder in our kids rooms. Highly recommend ! Would give 4.5 stars if possible . Only half a star off was for cleanliness of outside patio tile and the neighborhood location . It was Perfect for the type of trip we needed with two small kids . Thanks Gino !

Belle vacance

Beau séjour en Floride, emplacement proche de tout. La propriété aurait besoin d'être rafraichis mais cela ne nuit aucunement au bien être et dans son usage.
