Darling carriage house on beautiful property with dock space to use to enjoy coffee or wine.Lovely hosts, excellent communication, friendly while allowing you private space. Perfect location for gorgeous walks, quick drive into down town and walking to great restaurants.

All around great. Beautiful setting, nicely furnished overall, well equipped kitchen. Hosts were gracious and very helpful without being intrusive. Will definitely rebook in the future. Excellent for anyone staying in the Beaufort area but not needing close proximity to the beach (15 minutes away).

Beautiful property, If I could give more then 5 stars I would. Rental is clean, we had everything we needed, communication with the owner is easy, seamless check in. Absolutely gorgeous view from the dock. We loved the rental so much, we came back this year. Highly recommended property from someone whose uses VRBO regularly.

This is a dreamy place. Everything is perfect. Beaufort is always a terrific place to be. The only negative is having to leave.

Just what we wanted, peaceful marsh views (and access), close to town, walkable to good restaurants, great host! The place is well appointed, clean and well maintained. And our pup loved it too!

Second stay here and it was just as great as our first. We felt welcome and cozy. Such a beautiful I’ll place with easy access to Beaufort and all the other local treasures.

The Waterfront Carriage House was perfect! It had everything you needed and more. A wonderful place for a getaway. Dan and Bobbie are so friendly, welcoming and very generous. They encourage you to use their dock to see the most beautiful sunsets. We will stay here again.

Very comfortable, clean, carriage house, all the amenities of home. Being on the water with a dock was delightful. Very peaceful. Restaurants, activities, birding spots close by.

A superb property with a great view of the water. Our host very kindly allowed us to sit on the dock. A well laid out kitchen that was well equipped with everything except a kettle - Americans are not great tea drinkers. A couple of great restaurants though not within walking distance. Would we go back - most definitely

Perfect. Better than we imagined. Sit on the pier; walk on the sidewalks through the neighborhood; enjoy the spacious unit with its great decor. Stairs are steep, but make for good exercise to get up into a magical treehouse-like place. Utterly safe. A gift to the guests lucky enough to stay at this exceptional property.

August 2025If I could give more then 5 stars I would, we frequently use VRBO to travel, this. rental was absolutely beautiful, clean, and the owners were so receptive. Easy check in and out. We had a wonderful time.

Everything was superb! The hosts gave us a warm welcome and the carriage house apartment is nautical in theme to the "T". We wanted for nothing . We enjoyed their lovely garden and dock. We highly recommend others to take advantage of this lovely locale.

Enjoyable stay

This carriage house rental met our needs very well. Located just a few minutes from downtown Beaufort and 20 minutes from Hunting State Park. Highly recommended.
