In the Heart of Kihei

We chose this location for its easy access to the sand and water as well as near restaurants and shops. It’s near all that and easy access to the highway to go to other special interest spots on island.

Beautiful spot in great location

We had a wonderful time staying in this condo. The best snorkeling is on the beach right outside and there are great views from the condo. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful Oceanviews

Location is close and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Also a short drive to several other hot spots (Wailea, Hana, Lahaina). Beautiful view of the ocean and beach!

Best Property for us

We have been to Maui 3 or 4 times. This was the best property that we have stayed at. Great location. Perfect for 2 couples - 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. We would stay here again.

We absolutely LOVED staying here!! Perfect location!! Perfect Beach! Everything was AMAZING. Quick walk to the beach and easily accessible to restaurants and shops. Would recommend this over and over again!! Mahalo

It was a great location. The only real complaint was the air conditioners in the bedrooms were really loud. We couldn't keep them on at night time.

Loved the view and the nearby beach! Roof top dining area was spectacular!

Condo was very comfortable. But it needs a deep cleaning of windows, screens etc. Pillows needs to be replaced! Stained and flat. Need additional bathroom towels.

Perfect location

We’ve stayed in the Royal Mauian a few times. The location is perfect. Close enough to town, but still quiet & the rooftop bbq area is amazing. Kamaole I is a great beach for kids & adults alike. The unit was nice, decently appointed & clean enough. It’s tough to get all the sand, etc when doing a clean. The view & lanai are excellent. Overall the unit was good. We have 3 small kids & found that it’s not the most kid friendly room (glass table, barn doors, etc), but that’s no fault of the unit. I would stay again.

Tile floors looked clean, but were very dirty. Your feet got black when walking barefoot.

The property is good except for the NOT CLEAN tile floors.

Great location for our family. Snorkeling with sea turtles right outside your door!

We are very glad we booked this unit. We love staying in Kihei because it is central to all other day trips we take on the island. We thoroughly enjoyed the two beaches and snorkeling with the family of sea turtles that inhabit the rocky shore just outside the Royal Mauian. This unit is also within walking distance to so many great places to eat! Staff was helpful and Claudia Garcia responded very quickly to our questions and needs. I had read other reviews before booking and am glad I didn't let them deter us. Road noise was not an issue for us at all. All we heard were the crashing waves at night. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was for the sugar ant problem in the kitchen. They are somewhat of a nuisance but we have encountered them before during our stays at other condo developments on Maui so we already knew they are a common issue no matter where you stay. They are manageable with ant traps and proper food storage. (Don't make it easy for them and you'll be fine)

This unit was absolutely amazing! The views were simply breathtaking right on the ocean with a perfect view of the beach. It is also very close to a number of restaurants, including The Cinnamon Role Place! The condo was incredibly well-equipped with everything you could possibly need: beach chairs, boogie boards, and a fully stocked kitchen with all the pots and pans you’d need to cook a full meal. We especially enjoyed the rooftop BBQ area the propane grill made everything super easy and convenient. The King-size bed in the primary bedroom was so comfortable, and the twin beds in the guest room were perfect as well. Claudia, the host, was truly the best I've ever interacted with. She responded quickly to our messages, was extremely friendly, and even allowed us an early check-in, which was a lifesaver after our flight. We absolutely fell in love with this place and are already dreaming of the day we can return. Highly, highly recommend!

Beautiful view and great place to stay. This condo provides the beach towels, chairs and even a sand bucket! I also loved that there was plenty of laundry detergent and dishwasher soap. (You know how some places give you a "starter pack"... at this condo it is just included.)The location between two beaches was great. Loved the chairs in the grass area for sitting and reading. Sunsets were incredible. We enjoyed the walking distance to restaurants and ice cream.I will share that this condo association is more for adults or parents with little ones. They have a rule for no games, no balls/sports. In the pool, there are signs posted that says you can't even play marco-polo. They clearly don't want the noise. We were traveling with tweens and teens and it was hard keeping them from playing games on the grass and in the pool. While we were at the pool, a man came hurrying out of a condo to yell at some teenagers (not our kids thankfully) for misbehaving. He pointed out the cameras and told them that he was watching them from inside. So just beware of this.The condo owner is great to work with. Responds to questions well. Also, there were previous comments in the reviews about bedroom air conditioning noise...must have been fixed. It was not a problem for us.

Just Right

This place is in a wonderful location in Kihei, a wonderful beach just out of the building, a load of good food around and also a lot within walking distance. The set up for a family is perfect because the sound does not travel from the front bedroom and the back bedroom (thick walls two bathrooms between and extra doors). I wake up early so having a place where everyone can hear everything is terrible, this was the opposite. The balcony was a great place to hang out. The manager Claudia was kind and offered helpful tips for the island. Highly reccomend. Also, if you wonder like we did if the palm tree in the photos block the view because of how it looks in the photos, it did not, I did not even notice the palm tree when staying there. Mahalo :)

Amazing views and location

The property was as good as advertised, and the location is unreal as far as views and ocean access. Amazing snorkeling right out front and you are on the beach within 2 min of leaving the unit.Claudia is great and easy to deal with.

Wonderful location

This was our second stay at the Royal Mauian but in new unit. The location is what brought us back. I did encounter some issues with this unit. Guest room beds were not made up as twins and at 10:30pm found ourselves trying to find bedding and make up room. Also air conditioning units were very noisy and guest bedroom really couldn’t be left on overnight. Kitchen could also use a few more tools.

Abundant whales

Great location to walk the beach and whale watch. Street noise is a problem and the bedroom air conditioners were too loud. However the view was spectacular. Claudia was wonderful to work with. The rooftop was awesome with the tables and chairs and grills.

Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

We can’t say enough positive things about this place! The condo was very comfortable, AC worked great, the entire space was as clean as can be. The views off the lanai are immaculate no matter the time of day. This spot is in the perfect location, plenty of shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk.Claudia is an amazing host, we were very pleased to get an early check in along with great communication from her if we ever had any questions. Very happy during our visit and can’t wait to be back!

Most beautiful setting

Great stay. Most amazing setting. Close to everything. Had a wonderful experience. Would stay again. Claudia (property manager) was a great communicator. Upon arrival, there was an issue with the A/C. Claudia was right on top of it and had it repaired immediately.
