Welcome to The Luxury Holiday House â our charming little hideaway tucked into the heart of the North Georgia mountains. The name is a playful nod to the classic Crocodile Dundee film â itâs the âshack in the woodsâ Mick takes his sweetheart to, and we thought it only fitting since our very first guest was a cowboy all the way from Australia.... and it did kind of start out as a "shack in the woods"!
Set on a peaceful working farm just 10 minutes from both historic downtown Dahlonega and Dawsonville â and about an hour north of Atlanta â this cozy guest house is the perfect place to slow down and soak in a slice of southern living. Wake to the sound of a rooster crowing, hear a turkey gobble in the distance, and sip your morning coffee on the front porch as the sun rises.
Inside, youâll find everything you need for a comfortable stay: a cozy queen bed, TV, kitchenette, private bathroom, and a welcoming space to unwind. Outside, enjoy evenings by the fire pit under a blanket of stars.
Whether youâre here to explore local wineries, hike mountain trails, or simply trade the cityâs rush for a little fresh air and farm charm, The Luxury Holiday House is your sweet southern escape.
