If you're looking for a perfect place to relax and get away from it all, then this place can't be beat. We stayed here over the Christmas holiday and loved it.We woke up to a picturesque view of the South Saskatchewan River snaking its way through the Badlands. We prepared meals in a well-equipped kitchen. The cabin is warm and cozy, inviting you to sit and read, relax or do a puzzle. There is no need to hurry; it is easy to ignore your electronic devices. The area is photogenic for both day and night-time photography. We took a day-trip through isolated farmland and places off the beaten track, seeing things you don't see on the main highways. The property owner, Murray, lives next door. He is one of the sweetest guys you'll ever meet. If something comes up, he will take care of it right away.A few things to keep in mind:- Bring enough groceries for your stay. There aren't many nearby towns, and small towns do not have stores that are open 24/7.- If you travel in winter, have 4-wheel or all-wheel drive. The hill going into the valley to the cabin is very steep and can be very slippery. Travel is best during the day.- If you have mobility issues, you may not want to stay here. The washrooms are on the second floor (loft) and in the basement. It requires you to climb stairs.Enjoy!
