Our cabin sits right on the beautiful Watauga River, offering peaceful, riverfront views that change with the seasons. One of our favorite ways to spend the day is kayaking or simply relaxing on the porch, watching the river roll by. For those interested in fishing, the Watauga is known for its excellent trout waters. We can suggest local fishing guides, as access and regulations are specific to this area. In the evenings, there's nothing better than unwinding outside and taking in the sights and sounds of nature.
While the setting feels tucked away and serene, we love that downtown Johnson City is just 10 minutes down the road â giving us the best of both worlds. You'll find great restaurants, shopping, live music, and all the amenities of a vibrant city. The area is also home to excellent medical facilities, major universities like ETSU, and with the Tri-Cities Airport just 30 minutes away, itâs easy to get here and start enjoying your stay.
