The location and the view from the home were outstanding! Waking up and having a cup of coffee while reading a book, hanging out on the deck, and enjoying the fabulous view could not have been more serene. Sunsets were equally beautiful! We had am amazing time, and Alex was very responsive with his communication. Thank you for the awesome experience!

We spent our 40th anniversary here. We enjoyed exploring the local area, especially the New Market civil war museum and skyline drive through Shenandoah National Park. The cabin was great, very clean and stocked with everything we needed. We always look for places that have a kitchen. We had everything we needed to prepare meals. The best part of staying at the cabin was the view. Its a beautiful view and so relaxing to sit on the porch with the fire. The drive to the cabin is rough and steep, glad we had 4 wheel drive.

This is the second time we’ve stayed with this host and had equally charming and wonderful experience. The host is extremely kind and responsive. The property photos perfectly depict the idyllic sunset and cozy cabin vibes. The cabin was clean, the bed was comfortable and the fire place was perfect for a cozy rainy evening in. The listing also accurately described the hilly gravel roads up into the property, our CRV managed just fine. The bugs were out and about while we were on the deck (you’re in the woods, to be expected!) - Picardin based deterrents and a mini fan I happened to bring from home helped keep them at bay. Lastly, the location is extremely convenient - close to the interstate and a quick drive to Harrisonburg and a short drive to Luray and other nearby noteworthy hikes in New Market. We would love to go back. Thank you for a lovely weekend away!

The place was updated and clean . The host was very responsive to any communication. The highlight of the place is the deck with the fireplace and hot tub with a breathtaking view. We enjoyed both the sunset, the moonset over the mountains. Each evening after our many hikes we enjoyed the hot tub while taking in the sunset.

The cabin is beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you could want. The beds are comfortable and we enjoyed the deck amenities. Alex was super responsive when we had an issue with the hot tub and quickly helped with a fix. Would recommend this cabin if you are looking for a relaxing getaway. The area is beautiful with lots to do from wineries and hiking to antique shopping and exploring cute historic towns. We did not do a cavern this time but if that interests you there are plenty to choose from. Overall 10/10 for this cabin.
