Romantisk flodhyttstuga! Vacker utsikt över bergen

Denna stuga är i samma stil som Gås- och Gander-stugorna, men vi tog den till nya nivåer. Det finns en sten spis, vacker glasfront med ett stort däck med en 6-personers badtunna med utsikt över floden. Ett sovrum med en king size-säng. Ett loft sovrum med 2 queen size-sängar. Båda sovrummen har stora fönster för stjärna som tittar eller tittar på det lokala landskapet. Vacker timmerkonstruktion. Stugan har ett komplett kök, inklusive diskmaskin. Stugan har hårda trägolv i hela.
Den bästa funktionen är utsikten över floden och bergen, fenomenal!

Blissful stay by the river

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin by the river. The views, the peaceful sounds of the river and the clean, comfortable cabin made for an all around great trip for the family.

1 year anniversary stay

This lodge is absolutely amazing! Wife and I needed a get away and this was it. From the amazing interior to being able to sit in the hot tub and hear the babbling brook. 100000% will stay here again! Thank you so much!

Great location!

We had a wonderful stay, it was not an issue for us however the second bathroom is only usable from an outside door separate from the main living space. The setting, and location were perfect, would suggest to other and stay again!

Great Mom and Daughter getaway

What a great trip! My mom, sister and I took this as our girls get away to see the beautiful fall colors and we were not disappointed. We utilized the hot tub every morning and night. We will definitely book again!

Great getaway

We had a great time enjoying the sounds of the creek, the beautiful sunrise, and the relaxing hot tub. Everything was so clean and we enjoyed the comfort of the cabin. We plan to return in the warmer months.

Lovely Luray

Charming, spacious very relaxing place to unwind. Far enough to feel away from any hustle bustle. Close enough to Luray to make amenities at hand in a few minutes. Really lovely town, we found everyone engaging and quick to smile. Views of splendor everywhere and are enjoyed best from the hot tub on the deck. Definitely take the time to check out Massanutten Country Corner

Few days getaway

Beautiful home and amazing view! Wish the weather was better but was still able to go hiking. Conveniently located near the National Park. The dogs enjoyed the yard and deck. There was a break in the clouds and we got to see a sunset from the comfort of the living room. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Serenity and more

Anything you needed was a ride down the road; hot tub AWESOME. Cabin well equipped. Sound of the river all day and night + perfect sized fire pit! Dogs were so relaxed and got good exercise going up and down stairs! So did mom & dad!! Downstairs picnic table perfect for hot afternoons out of the sun. The gorgeous pine trees made it even more fun as my female Bull Terrier likes to trance under the branches. It was a little hot while we were here, and A/C was perfect as the cabin is newer and seems very well insulated. Hot Showers/ Comfy bed! Yay!!

Mother Goose was a good one! Plan on bringing linens, towels, and water shoes to jump in the river. 10 minutes to Luray Caverns and the downtown area of Luray. Would definitely stay here again.

Easy to get to, awesome location on the river and very quiet. The sound of the water flowing by was very relaxing. This place is very well setup and comforortable for a small family or group, The kitchen and living area was great. and with the deck and hot tub right there made it very relaxing.

This was our third visit to the Luray area within the past 5 years and this was our favorite place. We loved our stay at the cabin and we plan on coming back! As soon as we walked in my youngest said the place was beautiful and I agree. Everything was exactly as described. Appliances and furniture were all newer and well maintained and the cabin was clean upon arrival. The washer and dryer were a definite plus! We felt tucked away from town but were also only 5 minutes from the Walmart and Food Lion if we needed anything. At the cabin, we took advantage of the river access and swimming, enjoyed relaxing by the fire or in the hot tub, and even had a movie night since the WiFi was strong. We cooked all of our meals either inside or on the outdoor grill. For excursions, we did rafting at Shenandoah River Outfitters (about 20 minutes away) and we also walked Alpacas at Point of View Alpaca Farm. It’s about an hour away but well worth it! We’ll be back again soon and plan to say a full week next time!

We are established cabin owners for over 10 years. I have been an owner and manager of Shenandoah River outfitters., for even longer. I have always been in the tourism industry since my teenage years as a guide on Shenandoah National Park.
My husband David is a farmer and his family farm has been in the Shenandoah Valley since 1790
We have a working farm, so the cabin is located in a rural setting.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Our cabins are on a piece of property that my husband and I bought over 25 years ago.
The family used to own this piece and we wanted to get the property back.
This is a beautiful river front piece, that we have grown to love. You can float right by the cabins. It is a bird lover and fisherman's paradise. We loved this property and all our friends said that it would be perfect for cabins and we finally caved, and put up the Goose and Gander. Everyone loves our little cabins so we decided to add the last and nicest cabin to the collection.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

There is a 34 acre island out in front of the cabin. There is over a mile of riverfront access.
You can wade, swim, fish,canoe, tube, kayak, bird watch, look for wild life. All within the confines of the cabins.
There is a private boat launch on the property.
Because of the large private island and the unspoiled area there are birds everywhere.
