This condo provides the ultimate home-away-from-home experience with unmatched hospitality. You can relax with comfortable beds, blackout curtains, a relaxing couch, high-speed WiFi, and Hulu + Live TV channels.
This mid-century building has been updated with a custom abstract mural on the outside, giving the building an artistic and unique touch. The interior of this second floor residence has been completely renovated. Large double-hung windows let in an abundance of natural light in all rooms which is magnified by the modern open layout.
Relax in the spacious living room featuring upholstered furniture, a large flatscreen television with streaming and Live TV, a work desk, and ultra-fast Wi-Fi that enables business travelers to stay plugged into their busy schedules. Enjoy the artwork by local artist Nico Amortigue, well-known for large-scale paintings and installations throughout NC and The Smithsonian.
The kitchen features a gourmet gas range, a convection oven, a refrigerator with an ice maker, a dishwasher, and a stackable washer and dryer. Granite countertops complete the kitchen, which comes fully equipped with essentials such as measuring cups, spoons, mixing bowls roasting pans and garlic press. The adjacent dining room comfortably seats four with all the place settings.
The bedroom has a king-sized bed with a television and a generous closet, including plenty of clothes hangers and an iron and ironing board. Furnishings may vary slightly from photographs as we periodically update. Our spacious bathroom features a walk-in shower with dual shower heads and a double sink. You will love our heated marble bathroom floor! Included in our amenity package are Nest products as well as detergents.
The building has a shared patio that includes a grill, table, and chairs. This is the perfect spot to have a cookout with your party while enjoying the beautiful surrounding scenery.
Located in historic Myers Park, Queens Road is the heart of Charlotteâs premier neighborhood, replete with wide sidewalks and towering oaks throughout the neighborhood. This incredibly safe community provides an ideal place for walking or jogging, and you are just a short stroll to multiple coffee shops and restaurants.
Within a half mile walking distance are more than locally owned 40 restaurants (Thai, Italian, French, and Mexican), as well as Starbucks, Panera, and Old Pancake House. Our favorite full-service spots, include Stagioni (Italian), RuRuâs (casual Mexican), and Napa on Providence. If you are looking for local gems, check out Laurel Market, Summit Coffee, Salted Melon, and Fenwickâs.
On the âMyers Park Mile,â you will find many locally owned shops including antiques, fine gifts, wines, and bespoke clothing for men and women. Spring through fall, Simpsonâs Farmers Market on Kings Drive is just around the corner and open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
Charlotteâs renowned greenway is less than a half mile away. From there, you can bike, run, or walk along the 30 miles of trails. We are also very close to Freedom Park, Dilworth, Plaza-Midwood, the Atrium Medical Center (Levine Childrenâs Hospital, Levine Cancer Institute, and Sanger Heart Center) and the Novant Hospital complex. The parks and open walking spaces make the area perfect for those with a furry friend. Well-behaved, quiet dogs are allowed in most of our properties with a pet fee. Many of our neighborhood restaurants have patios that welcome dogs.
We love hosting guests for both short- or long-term stays. So, whether you are here for business, pleasure, or visiting someone at either Atrium or Novant Hospitals, our goal is for you to feel at home during your stay. We will try hard to accommodate almost any special requests and are readily available should something come up. We look forward to hosting you. In 1905 John Nolen, a recent Harvard graduate with a masterâs in landscape architecture, came to Charlotte to design Myers Park. Nolenâs professor and mentor at Harvard was Fredric Law Olmsted Jr., whose father had designed Central Park in New York and the Biltmore Estate for George Vanderbilt.Â
Nolen designed a progressive streetcar community where all residents could walk to the streetcar lines and visitors would be able to make a loop through the neighborhood and depart where the main street would join itself. Numerous parks were interspersed along the creeks and low-lying lands.
With its blend of elegance, natural beauty, and proximity to the city's finest offerings, Myers Park is an ideal choice for a refined and memorable experience.
SouthPark Mall (Luis Vuitton, Hermes, Neiman Marcus, etc.) is less than five miles away.
For those with horticultural interests, The Duke Mansion is a short walk, Wing Haven Garden is five minutes away, and the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden is a 20â30-minute drive.
The US National Whitewater Center is ~20 minutes away, offering rafting and kayaking on âthe worldâs largest and most complex recirculating artificial whitewater river.â
