Had a lovely, quiet weekend in the casita. It is a small space but just fine for one person who isn’t cooking a lot. The koi pond and waterfall are beautiful and a nice addition to the relaxing space.

Turtles and plants!

This is an amazingly charming place to stay! We, a friend and I, had to share a queen bed and found the room to be small. Since we were there to basically sleep, it was OK. It’s perfect for a couple or single person. It’s a beautiful room, property, and wonderful host/hostess.

Family time

I'm so glad I found this place. It's perfectly situated next to my family I was visiting. Bonus, the coy and turtles were a big hit with the kids. I will definitely be back!

Great stay

Loved this Zen garden casita. Even though small it was well supplied and the zen outdoor area with pond, turtles and koi was very relaxing especially after the wind rain storm which came the first night we were there. Close to grocery, restaurant and airport. Host on property and very pleasant to work with. Would stay again.

Very relaxing!

This is a really tranquil setting. The koi pond with the turtles was lovely! Since I was in the area to go birding, I didn't spend a whole lot of time there, but I would definitely look into staying there again next time.

Enjoyed the Casita

It was small but adequate for our needs. We liked having our meals outside in the beautiful garden, where we could watch the fish and turtles and admire the plants. It's in a quiet neighborhood with good access to a major street and shopping areas.

Hosts went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. The casita was delightful! Enjoyed watching the koi and turtles. Very quiet neighborhood. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!

Lovely Casita

The property was very nice and exceptionally clean. It was exactly as advertised. There was a small kitchen area, which we did not need to use, however it was nicely stocked. The Murphy bed was very comfortable and easy to use. We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful casita

Clean, bright, everything works. Our only slightly negative comment is that I think the mattress needs replacing. Seemed quite soft. Perhaps that was an intentional choice but many folks we know prefer a firmer mattress. But besides that, it's a great little oasis in the desert!!!

Restful haven!

The casita was very well equipped, for such a small space. It was everything we needed for 2 nights. We felt very relaxed and safe. The front garden, the interior garden, fish and turtles were a calming influence amid all our travels. The overall property and neighbourhood was quiet and well kept. All the birdsong was such a great bonus. The hosts are wonderful people and I enjoyed interacting with both of them! We would highly recommend this property for one to two people for a short stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights!

Zen oasis in the desert

Small apartment for one or two. Not a lot of space, but space is used very effectively. Bed is comfortable, and everything you need is there, including a stovetop, fridge, microwave, dishes, flatware and toiletries. Liz and Mike are great hosts. Garden with fish and turtles was a rare treat!

Comfortable and easy

The hosts were easy to work with. They supplied soap and shampoo and coffee pods for their Keurig, which was appreciated. The turtles and koi and bonsai trees were very cool. Peaceful stay, would stay here again.

Peaceful and relaxed

Very pleasant. I was visiting relatives and friends in the area and it was a great place to stay. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful with any questions and needs. The fish and the turtles were very entertaining in the garden, which was very relaxing. I even spotted a couple of hummingbirds.I would absolutely stay there again.

Casita Getaway

Everything included as advertised. Liz and Mike are warm, friendly hosts. Our stay included family reunion and Cubs spring training games. As an over eighty couple, we appreciated no steps, the ambiance of the Zen garden, and being able to have our breakfast in this setting,

Perfect stay for what we needed!

This was the perfect little stay for us to crash at after exploring Arizona during the day! Everything we needed was provided and it was such a cute/safe location! Our host had wonderful communication and was such a kind person! Would stay again :)
