Den perfekta Colorado timmerstuga familjesemester eller romantisk semester plats! 'Mountain Song' är en autentisk handgjord 3 sovrum, 2 badrum timmerhus inbäddat på strandlinjen av en lugn bergsjö gränsar till Rocky Mountain National Park och Arapahoe National Forest ... med hisnande utsikt över bergen och frodiga tallar!

Så mycket att göra här! Koppla av på däck med utsikt över sjön och bergen, medan barnen leker på sandstranden i Sun Valley Lake, en privat icke-motoriserad bergsjö. Gästerna kan njuta av vår kanot, pedalbåt, cyklar och livvästar.

Fastigheten har gott om vilda djur och är en naturlig livsmiljö för älgar (älgkalvar födas längs vår sjö varje vår). Känd som det bästa stället att se Moose på nära håll i Grand Lake! Se vilda djur betar längs den orörda fjällsjöns strandlinje - bara några meter från däck! Älg, rådjur, räv, oter, bäver, björn, fiskgjuse, kolibrier är ofta besökare!

Vårt äkta full-timmerhus har en varm, rymlig känsla med välvda exponerade timmertak, stort öppet koncept kök och familjerum med vedeldad spis. Köket är fullt utrustat med matbord för upp till 12! Hemmet är smakfullt inredda med bekväma, klassiska inredningar i fjällstugan.

Ett sovrum har en king size-säng med en våningssäng och 2 drottning sovrum med ett loft som gör detta till den perfekta platsen för 2-3 familjer eller par som tillsammans reser! Familjerum har också futon i full storlek för extra sömn.

Platsen för Mountain Song är absolut perfekt för alla åldrar! Ligger precis mellan Rocky Mountain National Park och Arapahoe National Forest, finns det flera trailheads inom gångavstånd. Utforska hundratals miles av vandringsleder för vandring, cykling, snöskor, längdskidåkning, ATV eller snöskoter precis utanför dörren! En utväg i slutet av vår väg erbjuder ATV, snöskoter och hästar att hyra. Det lokala 18-håls golfbanan ligger bara 2 mil bort.

Den underbara, vänliga staden Grand Lake ligger bara 4 minuters bilresa och erbjuder en marina med full service där du kan hyra pontongbåtar och jet-ski, och det finns en fantastisk familjstrand. Vandra i centrala strandpromenaden och utforska många lokala konstgallerier, presentbutiker, restauranger, glassbutiker, go-karts, bowling och mer! En stor gräsbevuxen centralpark erbjuder en fantastisk picknickplats och bra lekplats för barnen. Grand Lake är också känt för sina fina live-teaterproduktioner, kolla in dramaproduktioner på sommaren!

Fantastic, the house was beautiful. The wildlife in the back yard and around the pond was unbelievable. Moose (male) and female with her babies, hummingbirds galore. The kids and us adults enjoyed swimming, fishing, kayaking and Canoeing around the pond. We will definitely be telling people about this house.

Great relaxing lake house for large group

The house was VERY well stocked with all of the things that you want and need! We felt at home very quickly. We enjoyed the views and the lake. The lake is great for kayaking, canoing, and fishing. It's too shallow for swimming or a large boat, however.

Mountain Song Cabin was FANTASTIC! It was perfect for the size of our family of 15. It was very well equipped and had everything we could possibly desire. I loved the fact that each bedroom had their own bathroom. We loved the spaciousness and all the amenities. The children could always find something they could do because of all the entertainments you provided, from the watercraft’s, to pool & air hockey, to movies, to a deck of cards. We loved your cabin!! I just can’t tell you how it was so perfect. We appreciated everything that was provided!! We all would HIGHLY recommend this cabin!

Perfect Getaway

The cabin is amazing. Plenty of room and activities for three families kids ages 8-13. The wildlife was awesome including the fishing, humming birds, moose, and Bald Eagle sightings! The host was unbelievably responsive both before and during our stay! Perfect trip!

Perfect

Our stay was great! The cabin layout was perfect for 4 families to enjoy Grand Lake. Skiing, snowmobiling and tubing were all easily accessible from the property. The house was very well stocked from the kitchen to the firewood. We will absolutely be back.

Lots of bathrooms, which was great for us!

We had 5 families, 4 kids. It was a great place for us. We loved seeing moose everyday from our window. We enjoyed time on the lake and hot tub. Lots of games at the house for the rainy day. Close to a lot of fun things to do. We would stay there again.

Summer stay

The cabin is stunning. Prime location by Rocky Mountain National Park and town of Grand Lake. I had a couple questions & concerns during stay and Allison promptly responded. We met her husband when he came out to check on my concern. Very friendly and helpful. You will love staying here.

A lovely, spacious cabin just outside the Rocky Mountain National Park.

There were four family groupings for a total of 9 people and the cabin was spacious and offered plenty of room. The kitchen was a highlight as we all cook and there was every imaginable kitchen item there. We hosted a couple of family dinners for a larger group, and the cabin worked well for that, too. The younger generation enjoyed the game room downstairs.

Memorable stay

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The space was clean, and beautiful, and had everything we needed. The kids loved being able to fish in the lake, ride the bikes, and the adults enjoyed having so many different places to sit and relax. The proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park is perfect for a long day hike, or a quick just a quick walk through. Our family enjoyed walking the beautiful downtown Grand Lake. We hope to stay again next year!

New years in Grand Lake

This place was absolutely wonderful! Our family had the best time. Your house had everything we needed. No detail was forgotten. The house is even more beautiful in person. Breathtaking views amazing holiday - June 17th 2018

I can't say enough good things about this cabin and the location, we had an absolutely amazing time! The cabin is lovely, much bigger than the pictures suggest, it's well stocked with everything you would need! The views of the lake and mountains are amazing, and we saw moose every day, including one playing in the lake! :-) It's only 5 mins to the Rocky Mountain National Park for even more awesome scenery, and wildlife! Winding River Resort is very close to the cabin, has horses and does trecks into the park too. The little town of Grand Lake has some nice places to eat. A fantastic holiday we will definitely return! :-)

A family treasure

This was our second two week Summer vacation at Mountain Song. It did not disappoint in the slightest. The owners were very responsive to any question or issue encountered. The place and location is magical for a family . We will continue to book this as long as they let us and have no doubt our kids will talk about all of the Summers spent there in 40 years. You will not make a mistake booking this for your family..

Great stay!

I was a little nervous because the listing was slightly confusing and seemed reused from the old property. But this property is AMAZING! They really made it feel homey. They had so many different utensils and spices in the kitchen it made it so easy to cook! The beds were extremely comfortable and we always felt warm in the house. Everything was so clean and well thought out! I highly recommend this home for large families like ours!

Incredible NYE experience!

We celebrated a birthday and NYE with a large group of friends from all over the country! This VRBO is truly incredible. It is apparent that there is a lot of love and thought that has gone into each and every space throughout the place. The large rooms and en-suite bathrooms for most rooms are perfect for large groups and famalies. The large dining table is perfect for large groups to all be together. There are many games and activities within the house itself but the surrounding area of Grand Lake is perfect for winter activities and very close by (10 minute drive). Our group not only enjoyed all the ammenities of the house but went cross country skiing inside rocky mountain national park which was an unforgettable experience! Would reccomend this house to everyone. The host, Allie, was also very responsive and accomodating!

Charming cabin - great location.

So happy to have come across the mountain song cabin listing. You cannot tell how truly beautiful the home and property are from the pictures. It is a real rustic log cabin with every detail having a touch of cabin flare. The back deck looks right onto the lake with beautiful mountain peaks in the distance - making it picture perfect. You could sit out there all day looking at all the birds and wildlife passing by. The cabin also had everything you needed from breakfast to BBQing. Truly a great place for a family getaway. We will definitely be back next year. Highly recommend the pontoon boat rides on Lake Granby. What a great trip.

We were recently introduced to the Grand Lake area and fell in love with it. So we decided to pursue the dream of owning our own cabin and making it available for others to rent. We are an extended family ownership from the Northern Colorado area. The peaceful, serene location of this cabin is what we have fallen in love with.

Varför värden valde detta boende

-There are many reasons we have chosen this area of Colorado to rent out and vacation. Right from our 'front door and cabin' we have spectacular views of the Never Summer Mountain Range. A 20 acre non-motorized lake located 20 yards from our porch in which you can fish, paddle boat or canoe from . An entrance to 250 miles of extended trails for 4 wheeling, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, mountain biking located only a couple miles down the road. The Grand Lake town is only a 5 minute drive and offers great dining and wonderful Grand Lake Views. Everything offered just right from the front door.
