Heavenhill, byggt på 1890-talet, är inte ditt typiska hem hemifrån! Knäppa och tyst men ändå så nära torget är det en perfekt uppsättning för en familj, flickahelg eller till och med för författare och journalister. Shelbie, en inredningsarkitekt och historisk bevarandesman, ville behålla den historiska integriteten i huset men ändå göra det bekvämt för modern tid.

Stugan har två sovrum (Galleri Rum: fullständig säng och täcke rum: två enkelsängar) med två badrum inklusive ett fullt utrustat kök, vardagsrum och skafferi / tvättstuga med tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Ett gammalt, enormt pecanträd skuggar den bekväma verandan med gungstolar av hög kvalitet och en uteplats med ett picknickbord. Om du gillar att laga mat ... det finns också en grill för alla att använda!

A Great Weekend Getaway

I needed to get out of town for a weekend and the Heaven Hill House was the perfect location to call home base. Great location, easy to get where I needed to to, and the house itself had great amenities and resources for deciding what to do. Very thankful for the chance to stay here!

Girl’s Weekend in Granbury!

Lovely, Eclectic, Cozy and PERFECT describe this property! Enjoyed a girls weekend getaway at Havenhill and highly recommend to others. Short walking distance to the Square was the cherry on top!

Wonderful property

My friend and I came to stay at this lovely property a couple of weeks ago. It was so clean and well decorated! Close to the square(we walked)and a great back porch to hang out on when we were resting. I highly recommend this property!

HH was lovely

This lovely quaint cottage was perfect for our trip. Every convenient to the Granbury Conference center. Host was great and promptly communicated and answered all questions. I would book again and recommend.

Special!

This was the most charming home! Built in the 1890’s the integrity of the history was intact while still having all the modern conveniences. So warm and cozy with a special touch at every turn. So much love and attention in every little detail. The Christmas decorations just added to the charm. Will most definitely return to this special home!

Charming cozy home

The home was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Everything about the house was warm and inviting. It’s the kind of place you hate to leave and want to come back and stay again. Hospitality was wonderful and communication with the host was great. Shelbie did an amazing job with the house. I’m definitely glad we stayed. It was worth it. Thank you very much for everything.

Charming PERFECTION!!

We booked this for a weekend of visiting with family and seeing a show at Granbury Opera House. We booked it and it was PERFECT. Charming, adorably decorated and COZY. We fell in LOVE with the place and will DEFINITELY be back!!!

Loved the HH Cottage

Shelbie Miller är värd

Shelbie is an interior designer by day and innkeeper by night?! She freelance designs for new and old construction but specializes in historic renovation/restoration. Her husband, Sam, their son Walt, and their cat live on his family farm in a 1907 farmhouse that they have been restoring for many years.

Varför värden valde detta boende

This home is very near and dear to Shelbie's heart. Her mother purchased the home in 2002 when Shelbie was just about to graduate from high school. After school Shelbie and her mother would go over to the property to peel back the layers of remodeling. One fun day we discovered a signature on the bead board ceiling that said: Josephine Heavenhill + Little Louise Miller Cross of the Heart Jan. 1, 1893. That was the day the little home was named: Heavenhill! For ten years the little home sat vacant and lonely while Shelbie went to college and started her own career and her mother ventured out west. Shelbie never forgot Hh since it was her first love (of old houses). Out of the blue, Shelbie's mother gave her a present in 2012: Heavenhill. She immediately put her whole life savings into this home to restore and share with the community.
