River Falls är en av de mest önskvärda familjehytterna i alla Smokies. Denna verkliga timmerstuga ligger i en privat, avskild miljö i Cosby, Tennessee, bredvid Cosby Creek, ett blått bandöringströms. Strömmen är över 60 fot bred bredvid flodfallet.

Gästerna kommer att njuta av den vackra, lugna grunderna kring kabinen också. Det finns gott om plats för hästskor, gårdsdart och andra aktiviteter. River Falls är utrustade med fina möbler, stora plattskärms-TV med kabel-tv och trådlöst internet. Gästerna kan njuta av spaet på 4 personer på bakdäcket med utsikt över Cosby Creek.

På övervåningen har River Falls ett litet vardagsrum med en bäddsoffa för queen size-säng, platt-tv och ett Pac-Man multicade arkadspel!

River Falls ligger cirka 12 minuter söder om Newport, och ligger 25 minuters bilresa från centrala Gatlinburg. Cosby ingången till nationalparken är bara en 5-7 minuters bilresa.

Flera familjer / familjemedlemmar kan också boka River Falls Bungalow, en 1-timmars kroghytt ca 150 meter från huvudstugan. River Falls Bungalow sover 4 och har ett fullt utrustat kök.

Wonderfully relaxing

This was an amazing stay - both the cabin and the location were idyllic. The hiking and fly fishing were spectacular! There’s a washer/dryer but you need to bring your own detergent as that is not provided. We will stay here again for sure!

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was easy to get to. Far away from the craziness of Piegon Forge/Gatlinburg, however a very easy 30 min drive to Gatlinburg! If you love the peace of the mountains yet want to drive to town for shopping or a night out, it was perfect. The cabin was beautiful and very clean. But the stream was the best part! You could hear the water flowing wherever you went in the house and it was very relaxing!! Can’t wait to come back!

Fun with snow flurries

We had a good time unfortunately my husband and daughter got the stomach bug while we were there, but we enjoyed the cabin a lot staying in and especially the hot tub. It was fun to see it snow as well.

Wonderful relaxing stay

We enjoyed every bit of it. The best part was that the cabin was described perfectly, often you get to your stay and find it’s so different from the listing but this was spot on. We will be back for sure!

Tranquility on the Creek

The rippling waters of the creek was so relaxing. Excellent privacy. Good value (close enough to Gatlinburg w/o paying Gatlinburg prices). Definitely worth a return trip.

Excellent cabin

The cabin is beautifully decorated and maintained. Well stocked. Beautiful and relaxing stream. The management was easily approachable and helpful. Highly recommend this place. I would stay every time.

Loved the River Falls cabin, so peaceful!!

Had a great weekend at the River Falls cabin, loved being right on the water and secluded away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but it is a short drive to all if you desire. Janice's Diner is only 4 miles up the road which was very convenient for breakfast and some great pizza!! Will definitely return in the future.

Cute cabin

Nice cabin and nice stay. Couple things should be maintained better. The screen doors need repaired and back porch lots cob webs. We had to wash the whole porch to use it. The creek was lovely but not really able to fish.

Relaxing

First family vacation since our 3 yr old was born. Everything was just what we expected. The location was perfect. We were close enough to everything we needed but far enough away from all the hustle and bustle. Could not have asked for better weather for this time of year. The stream right outside the back door was so tranquil. All around great trip.

Real Log cabin

The stay at the property was wonderful. Finding it was difficult since the landmarks to get there from Gatlinburg were not there. All of the signs were gone and the road sign was covered by tree leaves. The road is exactly 3 miles from the T in Cosby. Loved the isolation and peace of the cabin.

Peaceful and cute

Loved this cute cabin. It was very comfortable although the downstairs bed was noisy. We enjoyed the hot tub on the back porch. The river behind the cabin is beautiful. My son thoroughly enjoyed fishing in it. Keep the porch lights on when enjoying porches and/or hot tub in the evening. We had snakes slithering up railings on front and back. We had a great time!

Very dirty

Very dirty, windows have spider webs in them kitchen was nasty. Floors were dirty,the cabinets hadn't been wiped down in a long time. Steps leading up to the cabin were very flimsy. It actually caused a fight between family because some wanted to stay despite the filthy conditions and others wanted to leave. The result was we left after one night. Wish I could get my money back as it was a horrible experience.

Bear essentials

This is a really nice cabin, and the setting is beautiful (although not nearly as private as it may lead you to believe). We went to celebrate a special occasion, but found the place to be woefully understocked with essentials. Oh, the soap and the towels were there, as were the linens, but we assumed (incorrectly) that there would be essential staples, like salt and pepper, some cooking oil, and such. The nearest grocer is many miles away, and I bought these while in Gatlinburg for the day, where they cost an arm and a leg. If you are planning to go, then be sure to pack every single thing you will need, or you will end up making a mad dash over a long distance. Sure takes the fun out of that special steak dinner you had planned. Also, if you don't like bear decor, this is not the place for you.

The stream behind the cabin and the serenity of the location were wonderful. The cabin needed some work and was not clean when we arrived. I expected that when we had to pay a large cleaning fee, it would be clean upon arrival and it would cleaned after we left. The cabin was left in better shape than it was arrived to- and even after the fee we still had to wash, dry and put away dishes, ect. Or an additional cleaning fee would be added to our card!!?! And if that wasn’t enough, there was an envelope asking for tips for the cleaning, waiting for us upon arrival?? the floors were dirty, covered in hair, and hadn’t been swept in awhile. The pillow shams and bed covers were very dirty and smelled musty. The beds are unbelievably uncomfortable and the temperature is set to a climate that can’t be changed, making it sticky and muggy in the cabin. We spent a lot of time on the porch where it was cool and there was a breeze. Overall the weekend in the Gatlinburg area was fun and comfortable, but the cabin needs some TLC to make it a really comfortable vacation spot.

Cabin with a stream

We had a fun 2 nights, spent time in Gatlinburg and GSMNP. Groceries are available within 5 minutes and a few places to eat too. Property is as advertised, although some of the pics are a bit outdated. It was a little difficult to find, even with the instructions provided. Google maps has it right. When we arrived the back door was unlocked, and I had to compare the pics on the site to the cabin to make sure I was in the right cabin, as it is not clearly marked. Several other rentals in the area. The stream.is RIGHT at the back door. Very glad I did not bring the dogs as they would have been very difficult to keep them out of the water, so if your dog is motion driven, like mine, it would be a tall task. Make sure you read the check out instructions on the fridge as the one that come via email are different. I almost left without stripping the beds and moving the dirty towels to the washer. 2 bathrooms, upstairs has the shower, downstairs has a tub. We needed to leave the bedroom doors open and run fans to keep the bedrooms cool from the 2 wall mounted A/C units. Kitchen supplies get the job done, pots and pans a new and nice.
